Dear Revdex.com;Mr. [redacted] is [redacted]. The solar sync did not fail. The transformer inside the clock is what failed. They are two separate pieces that work with one another. According to contractor law, we have the right to replace the clock. If you refuse our right to replace the faulty clock, then our according to the law, our obligations are complete. We have no further opportunity to rectify the problem. A new working clock and a check for $49.99 is what we can do and be in compliance with all California State Laws. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Review: I contracted the Sprinkler's Pro to do fix the leak in PVC pipe in my irrigation system. Out 4 irrigation zones, one zone #3 had this leak. Contractor didn't showed up at scheduled appointment time and it has to be rescheduled on next day and as result I had to adjust my work schedule and cancel some important meetings. All repair took about 2.5 hours, as after repair on one pipe another leak was discovered on same pipe. I've been charged 384$ for this work. The next day after the job was completed, I realized that half of the drip irrigation lines stopped working on zone #3. I called the business owner, and in four days one of the contractors returned to identify the problem. He spent about 40 minutes in front yard and resumed, that the dirt inside the pipes damaged the whole irrigation system. He also stated that the dirt was there for long time. I objected, saying that irrigation worked perfectly until contractors repaired the leak and contractor is responsible for dirt in the pipe. He replied that contractors are not responsible for destroying the irrigation lines, and they are not going to fix it for free.He asked another $300 to partially repair irrigation lines in one place, and he said he is not going to do anything about another pipe that is under concrete driveway. When I insisted on repair at no cost, business owner agreed to return 200$ to me, which he never returned. When I reminded him about it he declined to do so, and he even claimed that my drip irrigation never worked, essentially accusing me of lying. I feel that behavioral is completely unprofessional and unacceptableDesired Settlement: Refund complete amount of 384$

Response:
While I am certain that we did the job that we were hired to do, it is not uncommon for other irrigation issues to come up once something else is repaired. This is not the repair's fault. It is a matter of age, system parts, prior poor quality workmanship, or a difference in water pressures with the new repair, etc. In this case, I believe prior poor quality of workmanship is to blame as was demonstrated in the three or four fittings that we replaced that were not glued when originally installed.
