Lovett Tree Care

We hired Lovett to remove a large tree in our front yard - which they did in July. Before they began we requested that they do not use the driveway or sidewalk for their equipment because of our concern of breaking the cement. They informed us that they would be careful and they have insurance. But their equipment footings (cherry pickers and branch grinder) ended up on our driveway and sidewalk, resulting in two cracks in the driveway and one in the sidewalk. We contacted Ed and he said they would take care of it and send someone out. THIS did not happen. We have frequently called (weekly), and could only leave a message (no one answers). Lately their message is "Mailbox full)??

I wish I could give them zero stars. We're renting and they certainly took advantage of that. They left their truck in front of our house for 6 weeks, the neighbors complained, they damaged our fence, we had to fix it. They damaged our lawn by leaving the cut up tree pieces on there for that same 6 weeks. They damaged living tree roots, driving machinery over them & tore up the yard doing the same things on muddy days. They were supposed to chop up a wood pile, that didn't happen. They told our landlord they were done, but all of their equipment was sitting in our yard making it unusable. This is ridiculous. The seem very nice, but I can't believe they are ISA certified or Revdex.com accredited with this kind of behavior. I hate to write a review like this about a small local business, but truly, they don't deserve your money. Horrible job.
