Love's Travel Stop #450

I also fueled at Loves store #13 in Marlow, Okla. and received contaminated fuel. I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran and after spending 700.00 to repair my truck Loves refused to do anything. The only thing I can do is never giving Loves any more of my money. I have gave Loves 300.00 to 400.00 a month for the last 18 yrs. That comes to about 75,000.00

My family stopped at Loves Travel Stop 450 (West Memphis, AR) on 2/22/15 and added regular gasoline to my [redacted] on our way to Knoxville, TN to see my dying father. We had no more than made it across the Mississippi river when the check engine light was flashing, the engine misfiring and I couldnt go more than 45-50 mph on I-40. We were able to pull into a [redacted] in Memphis. [redacted] diagnosed the problem as contaminated fuel, but it would be hours before they could repair the car. I borrowed a friends car in Memphis to continue our trip to Knoxville for fear my father would pass before we got there. After my father's passing on 2/26/15 and subsequent funeral services we returned to Memphis and picked up the car after paying a $680 repair bill. I contacted Love's Travel stop within an hour of the event and saved all my receipts and repair bills. After my return to Little Rock, AR I spoke with [redacted] in [redacted] (OK City)and he verbally admitted the fuel we were given was contaminated but wouldnt assume responsibility (due to no other complaints that day or history of a fuel drop at that location). I still have the contaminated fuel and shared a photo of the fuel with Love's Travel Stop. The entire process has been stressful and emotional. On March 31, 2015 I posted my concern again on the Love's Travel Stop Facebook page and received a polite reply saying I would be contacted by Love's but it is now June 17, 2015 and I have yet to receive any further communication. Love's Travel Stop sold me contaminated fuel that cost me almost $700 to repair and caused me great distress during a very difficult time for me and my family, yet they refuse to accept responsibility.
