[We signed a contract to play for the Giants Full Season Team out of Attleboro, MA., not some other team within the Lovell organizationBefore entering the contract, we had confirmed with the coach exactly when and where the practices were going to be held, as well as the amount of travel involvedWe did this in order to make sure we could make the commitment to the Giants UFull Season TeamTo be clear, there was no Giants UFull Season Team(See Attachment A)The owner of Lovell Hockey, Tim Lovell, never reached out to us with any options; he never met with us or even bothered to speak to us by phoneFor that reason, coach *** released us from our contract with the promise of a refund and referred us to the Islanders hockey organization(See Attachment B)We paid $6,to play on the Giants teamWe are aware of exactly what minimal activities our son participated in before the season started, which adds up to less than the $1,non-refundable deposit stated on the contractWe asked for an itemized list, which they refused to provide usWe have a text from Coach *** stating that he informed Lovell Hockey that our son participated in a summer combine and practices(See Attachment C)Why would the coach of the team give us the name of another organization to play for if we were still part of a Lovell Hockey team? However, since we did not get our refund in a timely mannr, we did not have the funds to pursue a position with the IslandersIn fact, as of today, the balance of what Lovell owes us is sitting on our *** ** *** credit cardIt is *** ** *** that asked us to contact Revdex.com, since Lovell cashed the check only days before we found out there was not going to be a teamIn other words, Lovell cashed a $5,*** ** *** check in bad faith, possibly breaking the law*** ** *** thought that the Revdex.com would be well equipped to answer the questionwas this legal? Finally, we don't consider ourselves lucky at allIt is unfortunate that Lovell Hockey chooses to run their business the way they doWe have the documentation we feel will back out claim and now we will have to see what the Court decides.]
