I am an interior designer and brought a client to this Lost and Found EstablishmentI went back the next day to leave a counteroffer price from $lto $They had to check with the consignorThis was Sundaythe following Friday late afternoonthey called and said my $was accepted and they kept my lamps on hold I offered my credit card over the phone and was told it was not necessary since I was out of town and would pick up the lamps on Monday morningSunday afternoon I get a call stating there is a customer who is offering $for the lamps and wanted to know if I still wanted themI said "Yes, I am still in CA and shall pick them up first thing Monday morning." Today, Monday I go to pick them upGive my License to them and the girl starts to write up the sale and says I have to call the owner to make sure it is $I had to wait minutes till the owner called back only to state I have to now pay $otherwise I can't take the lamps THIS IS NOT AN AUCTIONTHIS WAS NOT A BUSINESS LIKE WAY OF DOING BUSINESSI WOULD NOT EVER GO THERE AGAIN AND WOULD NEVER TRUST A BUSINESS THAT DID NOT HONOR THEIR WORD

This was Sunday. the following Friday late afternoon. they called and said my $1200 was accepted and they kept my lamps on hold I offered my credit card over the phone and was told it was not necessary since I was out of town and would pick up the lamps on Monday morning. Sunday afternoon I get a call stating there is a customer who is offering $1500 for the lamps and wanted to know if I still wanted them.
