Review: On February 19, 2014, we provided this contractor with a down payment of $1000 to purchase the materials necessary to manufacture and install a custom railing for our back porch. We were assured that the installation would then occur in the Spring, once the weather warmed up. Several months passed with no contact from this contractor. We then contacted him on several occasions on his cell phone and were assured by him that our project was underway and that as soon as the company's "current job" was completed, our project would be next. Additional months passed, again with no contact from this contractor. And now worse, despite very civil messages that were left with this business, he has failed to return ANY of our messages over the previous 4-6 months. No work has been started or completed on our railing, and he still has our original deposit. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing.Desired Settlement: Regrettably, at this point, we simply want our $1000 returned to us and we will then identify a different contractor to perform this work for us.
