My month old puppy was hit by a car and suffered a severe concussionHe was brought to the Lorain County Animal Emergency Center within the hour of the accidentHe was taken to the back and placed on oxygenMy family and I were not told that he was placed on oxygen or any information about his condition for hoursAfter hours, the vet tech came out to ask if we agreed to get xraysWe were appalled they hadn't taken any xrays or started to treat him for hoursHe was given morphine when he had a head injury, vomited times and his HR dropped for minutes and they did not reverse with narcanWe kept being told the doctor would "come talk to us soon", and we weren't told any real information for hoursThe doctor discharged another patient and did paper work while we waited to hear about our family petTerrible prioritizingIncredibly rude staffWhen we asked when we would hear, they acted as if we were a botherEspecially the vet tech with the nose ringShe was incredibly rude, short with us, provided no information, and was rough with our puppy, slamming the crib rails up and down when he was suffering from a head injuryThen when we came back to pick him up the next morning, we were told to be there between 7:and 7:AM, and again we waited for over an hour before they discharged our dogWe had arranged to take him to DrP [redacted] s office straight from the clinic and we were told they would fax his information and that DrP [redacted] would be expecting usDrP [redacted] s office was never faxed the information and had no idea we were comingHorrible horrible customer serviceNo empathy or compassion, terrible pet care, and terrible mannersI would never recommend this place to anyoneI'm writing this review in hopes that something changes so that another family suffering from a crisis situation does not have to endure any more pain and stress due to these people
