AUTOMARKETING contacted me after seeing my ad on Craiglist. I agreed for them to sell my car on Nov 1, 2012. I did not receive any calls. I opt for the refundable agreement of $249 (20.00 processing fee not refundable.) I followed the guaranteed refund policy by the letter (notarized statement, within 10 days after expiration date of 01/31). I filed for my refund in a timely manner on 02/07/2013. As of this date, I still have not received my refund. It is always the same excuse, it has been sent for review in the accounting department. However, you can never talk to a manager or accounting about the problem. I now feel it is a scam . I have also sent e-mails which replied that e-mail would be answered within 24 hrs, another lie. It has been one excuse after another. I would not recommend this company to anybody. I successfully sold my car on my own but now can't get my guaranteed refund. This is very frustrating. I hate to be out of $229. Now I wish I would have paid only $149 and maybe I won't feel so badly. But the guaranteed refund sounded like a win-win deal. Deal alright!
Review: I have never filed a complaint against a business but this time I truly feel as if I have been taken for a ride.I have been advertising a vehicle on craigslist for some time and oncedriven has called me on helping sell my car for some time.I finally gave into repeated calls that they had buyers ready for a vehicle such as mine 1979 trans am and all I needed to do was pay the fee and allow them to turn the perspective buyers onto me.THIS NEVER HAPPENED. The process started on 11/20/15 and until now 01/03/16 not one phone call or e mail in regards to the purchase or even a question about the vehicle.I have repeatedly called to speak to my assigned sales associate asking for a refund and all I was told I will refresh your ad. The service was never sold to me as a ad but a release of my information to people ready to buy such a vehicle. All I asked for is a refund for my 189.00 charge and they refuse to do so I TRULY FEEL RIPPED OFF AND ANGRY!! Service not delivered as it was sold to me. I feel like now they have my money I cannot get through to anyone for any action as far as a refund. If anyone else gets a phone call from this company don't fall for the sales pitch that we have people waiting to buy your car because its not true and you to will lose your money.Desired Settlement: All I ask for is a refund for a service not provided. I work with the public every day and provide services for them in the automotive field. I believe to keep people happy and returning to you must always do what you say!

Response:
Mr. [redacted] listing with Once Driven has been seen by over 700 people (to date). Once Driven has provided the service Mr. [redacted] paid for on 11/20/2015, which was to market his Trans Am to perspective buyers. If Mr. [redacted] had sold his Trans Am through any source not provided by Once Driven, he would have qualified for a refund of his listing fee minus a $29 processing fee. Since Mr. [redacted] Trans Am has not sold, Once Driven is continuing to provide the service paid for (and agreed upon) on 11/20/2015. Once Driven will continue to market Mr. [redacted] Trans Am to its perspective buyers until a buyer for his car is found. We encourage Mr. [redacted] to continue to reach out to us for assistance in helping him sell his vehicle.Sincerely,[redacted]Customer Service Manager

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] The reason being for not excepting this resolution is once again I have asked for a refund and being denied for a service that they did not provide as It was sold. The sales pitch that I got for the service was prospective buyers are waiting for specific vehicles such as mine and I just need to pay the fee and they would put me in contact with them. no one has contacted me in the purchase of my vehicle or even to inquire about it. After well over a month of no activity or questioning on my vehicle I have been asking for a refund and again they continue to tell me how many people have looked at the website. I strongly feel that this company has lied to me and lesson learned do not trust anyone! If they want to make things right they need to refund my money and remove the ad. I was getting more activity on craigslist and it was free. The phone call markets the company as them being brokers and put people in contact with you that want to buy these vehicles it does not happen. Again I want a complete refund for a service that was not rendered to me as it was described to me they said the phone call was recorded play the recording!!

Regards,
I request that my listing be pulled from this website as I do not want to be affiliated with anyone that does not follow through with a proposed agreement. This company gave me false facts and information about how they were going to promote my vehicle for sale!!! If they had clearly stated that it was going to be an ad or just a listing I would have not done it!! I can list things on eBay or craigslist with a better response. I [redacted] excepted the offer with the impression they had specific people looking for specific vehicles such as was stated to me in the recorded conversation we had. Since my experience I have looked online about this company there is no good reviews just people with the same experience as I. Just to be noted as of today January 9 still no one has contacted me on or about my vehicle!!!!! It's pretty sad when someone doesn't follow through with what they say and still refuse to give you your money back Is just morally wrong!! But who am I to say judt someone who tries to run an honest business every day so I can put my head on my pillow each night without worrying.

Review: I posted my car on [redacted] and have received numerous calls from OnceDriven.com sales reps (possibly pre-recorded messages?) who called from blocked numbers and offer to "help me sell my car for $200". I have never responded to them, and attempted to block their calls, however they call from unmarked numbers that read "NO CALLER ID" and am unable to get them to stop, nor am I able to call them back to let them know this.My car has been sold already, and they still call leaving voicemails saying "I see your car isn't on [redacted] anymore, do you still need help selling it?" These are scam artists that pray on people who don't know any better, they need to be terminated. There is a reason they are not Revdex.com accredited.Desired Settlement: Please stop calling me. [redacted] clearly states "do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers", therefore you should not be allowed to use my phone number posted on there to promote your service.

Review: I recently listed my husband car on craiglist and Once driven contact both my cell # and my husbands cell # but totally by passed speaking to us and taped into out voice mail and left a message for us to contact them. I had not heard of this and was speaking to my cell company and brought it up and she googled it and there is a was to pay to bypass speaking with a person and leaving a voice mail to me this is hacking into my phone and it not ethical.

As Ms. [redacted] contends, Longwood did reach out to her on behalf of buyers interested in the vehicle she was selling. It’s not clear why Ms. [redacted] believes Longwood hacked into her phone, but we can assure you that is not the case. As it is clear Ms. [redacted] is not interested in speaking with Longwood's potential buyers, we will instruct our representatives not to reach out to the number provided in the complaint (###-###-####). If Ms. [redacted] wishes to provide any additional numbers, please let us know.
Thank you for giving us an opportunity to respond.

Review: I listed a vehicle I had for sale with them on or about March 29, 2013. I chose their $249 package that would list my car with their service for 90 days. If the vehicle was not sold in that time period, I was eligible for a $220 refund. I paid the amount and my car was listed for the 90 day period. I also submitted the required photos during the 14 day period that was required and checked my listing to see that they were there. During that time, I did not receive one inquiry regarding my vehicle. The time perior expired on June 28, 2013. I called the company and indicated I wanted to terminate the service. I filled out the required paperwork, had it notarized and sent it by Certified Mail/Return Receipt. I received their signed copy with a delivery postmark of July 3, 2013 - well within the alloted timeframe. I was told told that it would take approximately 30 days to receive my refund. So I waited. And waited. And waited. Nothing happened. I called them near the end of August and was told that I shold receive payment in approximately 2 weeks. We hae been out of town and upon returning, I called again on Monday, September 9, 2013. This time I was told it should happen in 4-5 days. It is now Friday and there is still no refund in my account. I called the company and was intructed to leave a message. I followed to the letter everything that I was to do to properly list my vehicle and file for the appropriate refund, yet AMS has not responded.Desired Settlement: I want my refund of $220 ASAP

Review: I contracted to sell vehicle. I used the 90 day enrollment Buyer Matching Program on Feb. 15,2013 for $249.00. If my vehicle did not sell within that period and I complied with their cancellation requirements that I would be refunded full amount minus the processing fee of $29.00 They received my cancellation notice on May 22, 2013, it was signed and notarized. I called them in June, I called again on June 28, was told that the request had gone to finance dept for processing. I called July 9 and spoke to [redacted], she told me she would let finance know I called again and would copy me on the e mail. I called July 19 and spoke to [redacted], said there had been some snafus but the credit card would be posted by July 31. I called [redacted] August 5, I told her if the amount was not posted by August 12 I was contacting the Revdex.com. Called August 14, spoke to [redacted] again, still not posted. Contacted West VA Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: To have my credit card credited with $220.00. Plus interest that I have paid on that amount since May 22,2013 The interest rate is 17.9%

Review: I listed a vehicle on Craig's List, and specifically indicated that I did NOT want to be contacted by solicitors. This company solicited me anyway.Desired Settlement: Is there some sort of reprimand that can be given to the company for failing to honor a do-not-contact request?
Business
Response:
Please let Ms. [redacted] know that her number, ###-###-####, was added to the internal do-not-call list today and will not be contacted again. As for contacting her Craigslist ad, the default language that Craigslist places on every online ad seeks to prohibit contacting sellers with “services or other commercial interests”, i.e., a commercial interest unrelated to why Ms. [redacted] posted her contact information in the first place, e.g, calls by random marketers such as credit card or home security companies. Ms. [redacted] posted her information online in an attempt to sell a vehicle and this service is specifically tailored to help her achieve that goal. Therefore, the call she references was related to the very reason she posted her information online. While the buyer-seller matching service is geared to help as many people as possible, it is understood that Ms. [redacted] is not interested and therefore she will not be contacted again. Sincerely, [redacted] Customer Service Manager
Review: I listed my car (2007 Ford Mustang) with them to be sold $250. $220 of the amount is refundable if they do not sell your car within 90 days. I sold the car on my own within a month. I provided them with all of the required documents within the time frame they specified. (The rest of this paragraph sums up 5 months of them not refunding the payment.) They said the payment should take 6-8 weeks to be refunded. I waited 10 weeks and then called to check in on the refund. They verified I did everything correctly and stated, "We are backed up with refunds and the payment will take around 10 weeks to get out." I waited 10 weeks and called back. They said it should have gone out. And that they would flag it, escalate it, and forward it to management. Another 2 weeks pass and I call back and ask to speak to a manager, but they cannot let me. They said they would notify them to contact me. They said they need 3-5 business days in response time. I have called back 3 times since, with 2 weeks in between, and have received the exact same story. They obviously have no intent to pay and looks like the company is bankrupt and do not have the funds.Desired Settlement: I want my refund issued to my bank account and some form of apology.

Once Driven apologizes for Mr. [redacted] dissatisfaction with its service. Contrary to Mr. [redacted] comments that Once Driven only promoted his Lexus on its own website, Once Driven did market Mr. [redacted] vehicle through sources other than its own website. Regards, when I signed up for this service I was told that if my vehicle sold in less than 45 days by another provider I wold get my full $189 refunded to me. I sold the vehicle via [redacted] list not from their website. I tried to give them the buyers name and phone number to verify that he purchased it and they declined to contact him. I have since today confirmed that he has not yet re titled the vehicle but will be doing so this week. I expect once Driven to refund my full $189.00 as I did comply with ALL of their provisions of the listing.
Review: I had received multiple calls from [redacted] with Once Driven. He stated on his first call to me that he had multiple interested qualified buyers. I believe he called me somewhere around 5 times, the records are in my cell phone call history. I did not call him back until I received his last and final voice mail which I still have saved, this is what he said... (THIS IS WORD FOR WORD!).
Hi this is [redacted] from once driven, and I thought I'd reach out to you uhh one last time. I don't see your motorcycle online anymore, hopefully that means u sold it, uhh but I just wanted to follow up, cuz if you didn't we can still help u get it done. It's gonna cost u around 200 bucks, and its guaranteed. So call me back I'd love to talk to you before the end of the day my direct line is ###-###-####. Have a great day.
[redacted] END VOICEMAIL [redacted]
I am keeping this voicemail to provide proof of what this company is doing to victimize and scam people. I have opened an investigation and a dispute with my bank to refund my $189.00 for services not rendered. My bank [redacted] is also replacing my card to protect me. I found crime alert page on [redacted] called Once Driven - The Perfect Scam. They are giving out information on how to report this company. This is why I have contacted you. Once Driven has charged my card $189.00 and are now refusing to refund my money back to me after I told them I want a full refund because what they told me on the phone is different than what their written contract states. I have e-mails saved going back and forth which validate what I am saying is true, as well as the saved voicemail. This company has some kind of past of being scam artists and victimizing people, they operated under the name of Longwood Industries Inc. Oh, one last thing, they got my phone number from my listing on [redacted], I had marked that it is not okay to contact me for solicitation. I am also on the National Do Not Call Registry, which they also violated. Their information is: Longwood Industries, Inc a/d/b/a OnceDriven.com
[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my $189.00 back for services not rendered and misrepresentation of their services.
After I get my money back, I want to never be called by this company again. So I want them to abide by THE LAW OF National Do Not Call Registry. I have already put in an official complaint to the FTC.
I also want there to be an official record of their unethical business practices so that consumers can be warned.

Response:
Ms. [redacted] raises the
following concerns in her two Revdex.com complaints ([redacted] and [redacted]):
1) she deserves a refund because she was mislead; 2) contacting her violated
the National DNC list; 3) she never wants to be contacted again.
In response, while the
refund terms were explained to Ms. [redacted], it appears there was a
miscommunication. In good faith, as Ms. [redacted] did not receive the services she
anticipated, we were certainly open to processing a refund (it was brought to
our attention yesterday that she received a $189 chargeback from her bank so
the processing of a refund is no longer necessary). As a non-profit
organization reached out to Ms. [redacted], there was no violation of the National
DNC list. On June 15, 2015, Ms. [redacted]'s number (###-###-####) was added
to the internal do not contact list so no one from OnceDriven will reach out to
her.
We hope this addresses
all of Ms. [redacted]'s concerns and we apologize we weren't able to sell her
motorcycle. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to respond.

You have not addressed the previous attempts at getting in touch with a representative. I was told there was specific interest in "the type of vehicle I have for sale" and also that I could request a full refund within 10 business days of the transaction. I received no contact from the business or any other interested party after the payment was processed and the pictures posted the next day. At no point was I told that no one would be available to take my calls for three weeks after the"purchase". The vehicle is no longer for sale. Another Gal got on and the way she answered the phone she was [redacted] so without saying anything she transfered me back to [redacted]. There PR [redacted]. They started playing games by transferring me from person to person and back to [redacted]. They would not let me speak to owner or manager. She was from the sound and would just read her script ingnore me talking to her and talk right over me and hung up again. I have my first conversation with notes that I spoke with a really nice gal named [redacted]. On my notes it says, if sold by 7-19-15 no refund. After 45 days if nit sold I paid 189.00 and I get 160.00 refund 29.00 is a service fee. So we thought about it and figure it was a no loose to sell the Kayak. Ms [redacted] need to get out of her southern slump or get another job. I have worked with the public my whole like and I have NEVER spoke to a customer like [redacted]. Get her off the phone. You don't hang up on cuustomers. I will write corporate. I will never use this business and I will make sure that anyone I know doesn't. RUDE!!!!Desired Settlement: Their customer service is exttremely rude and hung up numerous times on me. Besides using the phrase "BRING IT", I would be fired in a heartbreak.
