This company offered me a cash price for a building and right before the building was to be delivered the owner hikes up the written negotiated price and removes the building from the lot. Then he has his secretary deliver the news to me.
I discourage anyone from dealing with this company. Dishonest and unethical business tactics drive customers away.
We regret this happened, our intentions are to be honest, fair, and God fearing in all our practices, this grieves us to leave someone with a bad experience.
Let's review the facts, one of our dealers negotiated with the owner, and both agreed to give this customer a 10% discount, total of 20% off original price for the customer (which is above and beyond our normal business practice). Dealer handed the customer a price on his business card, tax not included. We at the home office pulled the product invoice, applied the discount, contacted consumer and let her know what she owed upon delivery, she was upset that it was more than what was on the business card, and didn't think she should pay tax. (dealer gave a discount on an incorrect price of building), there was no invoice given to the customer. When the home office pulled the invoice, the price the customer received from the dealer was $700 below the agreed 20% discount. Circumstances beyond our control required removal of the Gazebo that day, and the customer would not agree to the 20% discount on the invoice price. Dealer was in the process of moving to new location therefore handed over processing to home office. We can not sell a building for less than what it takes to build, and deliver.
