I paid for an installation with warranty. The warranty on defective work is not being honored.
I purchased a garage door from this company and paid for it to be installed by them. The door did not last a year because it stopped opening. I had a 10 year warranty on their work. I called them to have it repaired. An employee arrived and said he would fix it. I let him know the door was under warranty. He said it was over a year so it would not be covered. I then let him know I had a 10 year warranty. He became upset and requested to see the receipt. I showed him the receipt and without even looking at my garage door he called his "supervisor". He came back to me, without looking at the garage, and said someone tampered with the door and they would not honor my warranty. He was not able to tell me how or show me what was tampered with. He said he would only fix it if I paid $210. He also said my 10 year warranty would also be reduced to 1 year, if I paid him for the work. I refused to pay him and requested he honor my warranty. He refused to honor the warranty. I have since called and emailed the company but have not had my calls and emails returned .

I called this Local Garage Door Repair, Inc for my broken garage door spring . Certain Benjamin was sent & replaced 2 springs ( the broken one, and the other one which was not broken) which to me is OK. He also replaced the 2 drums. And to my surprise, Benjamin charged me $500.00 for 2 springs & $65 each for 2 drums. With labor and taxes I paid $834.00. I tried to argue with no avail. So I just wanted him to get out of my premises, so I wrote a check to Local Garage Door Repair, Inc. but he insisted to write it to Fix N Go. I complained when I noticed that the garage door's left side is about a half inch not touching the ground. He insisted that there is nothing he can do as it's always the case after a broken spring . The only way to fixed it is to replace the rails. Terrible, this is robbery ! I called the Company asking for the supervisor & I was transferred back to that Benjamin at Fix N Go, he says, he is also the supervisor. Hope someone has to stop this kind of a business.

Reviewing the other complaints - do you think it's a coincidence that the only person with gushing reviews of this scam business is *** A (aka *** - owner of this crooked company)?! Don't be fooled.
He also operates under Legendary Garage Door, Legacy Garage Door, and multiple other names in order to con more people.

This business is such a scam. Beware DO NOT USE. As others have stated they advertise as being local in every city but come out from Los Angeles.

They say one price on the phone ($180) and a completely different price when they show up ($550). When I complained about the price he quickly came down in price.

The guy didn't know much about garage doors. He was on the phone constantly asking someone for help. He spoke spoke a middle eastern language on the phone. He was at my house for 2 1/2 hours. He put on a new spring but didn't know how to adjust the openers fine tuning adjustments. Then at the end he wanted a check written out to him saying the company would take 20% out.

These guys supposedly do business in every city, yet I find out they are just a call center that will then send some guy to your house. They lie to you on the phone in regards to a price and then want to haggle with you when they arrive. Shady and very unprofessional. Then when you tell them to leave they demand $20 for showing up. Do not trust this company (or any other company name this business tries to hide under).

I wanted to get sensors installed so had someone come out to look at it and give me a quote. The person who turned up quoted me $300 in total for the job. After 30 minutes of getting the sensors installed and not working, he determined that my garage door opener was too old and I would need to change it. After he left, I tried to bring my car back into the garage only to have the opener not working at all now. Since then I had someone else come this morning who proceeds to tell me that my garage door opener is damaged (one that had been working perfectly fine for several years of me living here). He then left saying I would need to take this up with their manager. After calling for the entire day and being passed *** and forth and being put on hold I am not being told that the first person who came out absolutely did not touch my garage door opener, he gave me a quote that I didn't agree with and he left with the service fee. The fact that the wiring he installed for the sensors is still in place is apparently a lie.

I have just had my roller shutter insulated doors fitted by Thames Garage Doors and I'm very impressed.
Firstly communication from Danny was fantastic, he kept me informed every step of the way,
from the day of the survey until the door was fitted I was updated on everything.
The quality of the door is very good ( 10 year warranty) the motor runs very smooth
and quiet, the remote system is also of a very high quality and the remote safety stop is pretty cool.
I looked around for a around 3 months for a roller shutter door and you have so much choice
but after seeing the quality of the door I have and the professionalism of Local Garage Door Repair inc. I feel I've made the right choice
as I'm very particular.
You may find cheaper out there as I did but none of them filled me with confidence until I spoke with Danny ,
His knowledge on doors are great.
