Since that location closed and I was sent to LoanMax on Williams Street, Hwy 50, in Carson City, Nevada, I am very happy. These two girls are so welcoming and friendly I enjoy seeing them., never an argument as to what happened with Maria in the other store.
These girls are AWESOME. LoanMax gets 5 stars!
In response to the complaint from the customer on the contract dispute, as part of our proposal we plan on grading the area designated for pavingThe process involved in paving begins with the area and we grade it out in order for proper laydown of surface mix/asphalt and we use a minimum of two inches of crusher run and compact it in order to provide a proper laydown for the asphaltIn this case, the customer decided to grade the area themselves in order to save extra moneyAfter we had received the message to call the customer back, Moseley Asphalt Services went to look at the area where the customer was concernedThe area of interest had two small holes, the size of nickels, where the base had not been properly laid down and had come up and mixed with the asphalt as the paver passed down the drivewayThe asphalt was paved at two and a quarter inches and then compacted down to two inchesBecause the base was not properly put down, due to the customers choice to do it themselves, I feel that Moseley Asphalt Services should not be liable to tear out and repave the entire drivewayAs for the grass that has come into the driveway, when we explain the entire process, we inform the customer that if there is grass along the edges, it will make its way into the driveway if they do not treat itAsphalt contains limestone which is a natural fertilizer and helps control the ph levels in the soil, which can cause grass to growTherefore, we feel that the complaint from the customer is not an issue that is covered under our standard one year warrantyThe customer was given a suggestion to repair it and Moseley Asphalt Services tried to pay for the material for the customerWe are sorry that the customer did not have a good experience with us, as we aim to please and work with all of our customersRegards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. Mr*** did not tell us that if we did the grading ourselves or not putting the crusher run down that it would interfere with the warranty If Mr*** did not have any intention of coming back out to my house, he should have told us instead of putting us off over and over
I have come to the conclusion that I do not want them to come back to my house I will also be more leary of who I do business with

After purchasing my second used vehicle from them in January I w
Traded this vehicle in at another dealership in August for a new vehicleThe dealership sent a check to SAC Finance for the complete payoff of my loan with themThere was an over payment of $SAC received payment on Aug 8,I was told by their representative I would receive a refund of the overage within daysIt is now Aug31,and still no refundAfter contacting them numerous times I learned the refund was not issued until Aug21stA full days later and still have not received itThey now claim I must wait a full days from date it was issued before they will stop payment and re-issue the checkI feel it is ridiculous that it should take this long for a simple refundIf I was this late in making a payment to them they would have repossessed the vehicleI feel I am entitled to the same courtesy with regard to refunding me the overage

minimum of two inches of crusher run and compact it in order to provide a proper laydown for the asphalt. In this case, the customer decided to grade the area themselves in order to save extra money. After we had received the message to call the customer back, Moseley Asphalt Services went to look at the area where the customer was concerned. The area of interest had two small holes, the size of nickels, where the base had not been properly laid down and had come up and mixed with the asphalt as the paver passed down the driveway. The asphalt was paved at two and a quarter inches and then compacted down to two inches. Because the base was not properly put down, due to the customers choice to do it themselves, I feel that Moseley Asphalt Services should not be liable to tear out and repave the entire driveway. As for the grass that has come into the driveway, when we explain the entire process, we inform the customer that if there is grass along the edges, it will make its way into the driveway if they do not treat it. Asphalt contains limestone which is a natural fertilizer and helps control the ph levels in the soil, which can cause grass to grow. Therefore, we feel that the complaint from the customer is not an issue that is covered under our standard one year warranty. The customer was given a suggestion to repair it and Moseley Asphalt Services tried to pay for the material for the customer. We are sorry that the customer did not have a good experience with us, as we aim to please and work with all of our customers.

Review: I acquired a car title loan. Re-payment was 150% over the loan amount. I did not receive my title back. The customer service was far less than standard. Very brutal in their remarks and even told me to get my title back from the Division of Motor Vehicles myself. It has been 5 weeks and I still do not have the title to my car. I paid loan off in two weeks.Desired Settlement: I think loan max should be responsible to get my replacement car title back and I should not have to pay for lost title, gas to go file for lost title, and they should apologize and sympathize with all clients. They practice unfairness in title retrieval, They are unfair in loan rates because they are excessive.

Response:
Thank you for your letter dated March 18, 2014, informing the company of Ms. [redacted]'s
conrplaint. We appreciate this opportunity to respond.
I am pleased to report that after Ms. [redacted] submitted the complaint, she received her title.
Unfortunately, the company has little control over how quickly the North Carolina Division of
Motor Vehicles ("DMV") processes a lien application. Ms. [redacted] opened her loan on February 8,
2014. She paid off her account on February 24,2014, before the title was returned to the
company from the DMV. However, the company did issue her a lien release letter, which would
have allowed her to obtain a new title immediately, rather than waiting for the DMV to mail the
title back to the company.
Thank you again for your assistance in this matter
Sincerely,
Consumer
Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.

Review: I took out a title loan with Loanmax in [redacted]. I barrowed 2,500 dollars on a vehicle worth about 10,000 dollars. within 55 days being pass due my loan went from 2,500 to 4,000 dollars. I am a [redacted] resident and I think that they should have to comply with ** laws on the interest they are charging. I am attending college and have three children still at home. I am doing all I can to stay ahead and now I have no vehicle because loanmax had it picked up. I tried to work with them on my payments and even asked if they could let me pay it off at tax time but instead of trying to understand my situation they took the only transportation I had. I think someone needs to look into the laws and see if the are complying with them. 200% interest really is this legalDesired Settlement: I would like to pay loanmax what I owe them (2,500) and my vehicle back

Thank you for your letter dated January 2, 2015, informing the company of Ms.[redacted]'s complaint. We appreciate this opportunity to respond. An investigation into Ms. [redacted]'s complaint proved that the company committed nowrongdoing. The company goes beyond state and federal requirements to ensure customers fullyunderstand the terms and costs of its credit services. As required by the Federal Truth andLending Act, the annual percentage rate and finance charge are displayed in large print at the topof Ms. [redacted]'s contract. Also in the contract, the company warns the potential borrower, inlarge BOLD print that the loan has a high interest rate and encourages the potential borrower toattempt to repay it as quickly as possible. At no time did Ms. [redacted] indicate that she wasconfused about the terms of his loan.On July 5, 2014, Ms. [redacted] borrowed $2515. The loan's repayment plan wasreasonable and affordable based on the monthly income and expense information that Ms.[redacted] entered on her application. However, unfortunately, a review of her account revealsthat she did not submit her payments as agreed. Specifically, she never submitted a fullminimum monthly payment. The company made every effort to work with Ms. [redacted] inregards to her remaining loan balance. However, she broke several promises to submit a paymentand eventually stopped communicating with the company altogether. On December 23, 2014,the company repossessed its collateral.Notwithstanding the above, the company is a consumer focused lender and is more thanwilling to discuss a mutually beneficial arrangement so that Ms. [redacted] can redeem hervehicle. In a good faith effort to resolve this matter, the company has postponed the sale of thevehicle. I have tried to contact Ms. [redacted] several times, but have been unsuccessful andwas unable to leave her a voicemail. If she is interested in redeeming her vehicle, Ms.[redacted] should contact me personally at ###-###-#### as soon as possible.Thank you again for your assistance in this matter. Please do not hesitate to contact mewith any further questions or concerns.Sincerely,[redacted]

Response:
I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am responding to the e-mail that I received today 01/16/15 regarding my complaint on loan max in [redacted] I was very aware that interest would be applied to my loan but never was it explained me that I was gonna be paying nearly 200% interest on this loan. If the company is going to loan to [redacted] residence they should have to comply to [redacted] laws. I, [redacted], on several different occasions tried to talk to loan max and inform them of my current financial situation. I am a single mother, trying to go to college with no income coming into my home at this time. I asked if they could hold off until I file my taxes to pay this the balance in full, but they was not at all willing to work with me. I still recognize that I did barrow 2,515.00 and I am willing to pay the balance I owe, however I still feel that this company should have to comply with [redacted] laws if they are going to loan to [redacted] residence. When they came to my home and took my car they didn't let me know what was going on or even allow me to get my things out of the car, they even have my tags. I feel that they treated me with no respect.
