LMI Notary Educational Service

I received a notice that my Public Notary appointment was up for renewal. I have been a notary for
20+ years. I briefly glanced at the renewal form, filled it out and selected my new notary stamp and sent a check in the amount of $152.00 by mail for it. About three weeks later I received another renewal notice in the mail, when I looked at it I noticed it was from a different company ANS of Washington. When I pulled my notary file I realized that I had thought that the first notice was from the notary service that I usually renew with (ANS) but instead it was from LMI. Realizing the mistake, I called ANS and processed my renewal with them as I had done in the past. ANS told me at the time that people had experienced the same mistake with LMI and that it was very difficult to receive a refund from them. I have been trying to do just that for over a year now, my first phone call was July 18, 2019 requesting a refund ( they had not processed my order yet). I was very politely told "No problem, we will get that taken care of right away". I never received my refund, and have called repeatedly,at least 5 times and have been told the same thing, but it never comes.
