Livewire installed a heat pump in Sept 2019 and from the beginning there were problems. I contacted *** whose response was for me to read the remote manual that I was not using the remote properly. When I tried contacting him repeatedly he would not return my calls until I spoke to the people at ***. At this point he told me I needed to turn the pump up if I wanted to attain the desired temperature, still not coming to check out the unit and when he would contact me basically it was to berate me and yell at me that it was all my fault and not his problem and if I was nicer to him he might consider coming out to looks at the unit. With nowhere left to turn I contacted the manufacturer who sent out a different contractor they dealt with. This contractor did indeed find a major problem with the unit and fixed it. They also informed me that the unit I had was too small for my house and that it would never do what I wanted it to. When I first discussed installing the heat pump with *** he was adamant that all I needed was the size he was going to install and that it would heat my entire house and where he would locate it was the best spot ( the other contractor said it was not ) I trusted his advice as having knowledge I did not possess about he unit and went with what he said. I also found out after the fact that *** did not have a refrigeration ticket and therefore was not really qualified to put this unit in. He also disconnected upstairs heat registers to hook up the heat pump instead of putting in new breaker and did not inform me he had done so
