Response:[redacted] was going to sub-lease the apartment from the current tenant who we rented the apartment to who wanted to move out and cancel her lease agreement. The current tenant in order to try to save her security deposit advertised on her own to get a new tenant and received back that [redacted]...

had interest in the apartment again nothing to do with our company. We charge a standard fee for an application which any potential tenant is required to pay and is clearly marked on the form its non-refundable. In order to move in to the building it’s required that we do a back ground/and credit check. If a new tenant moves in we can charge a new rent and that’s what we were going to charge [redacted] the going rent for a new apartment in that building the fact that the current tenant told her that her rent was lower and thought that we would keep the same rent for a new tenant should not be our fault being that we didn’t falsely advertise we never marketed the apartment at the price the tenant was currently paying for a new tenant and therefore feel that we did nothing wrong. However We are willing to make an exception and refund the application fee in this case, if that would make [redacted] happy. Please let us know how she would like to proceed.
