I am rejecting this response because:Yes, the photos on AMCO’s website are very nice, which is why we booked a room onlineSince their photos give the impression of really nice rooms, this is the main reason I’m upset with the room we received. We booked four other hotel rooms during this trip to Austin and had no complaints about any of them, nor did we ask for a refundIn fact, I’ve never asked for a refund on a room before. My husband took a few photos, which I’ve attachedThe first photo is of the ceiling where the fire alarm obviously should have beenThe second photo is of a switch blade knife that was left in the room by a previous guestThe third photo is of a ripped up lamp shade, which if you look closely at the phone on the right side, the AMCO logo is noticeableWhen we arrived to the hotel, there were only a few cars in the parking lotWe immediately noticed this detailThere is no way AMCO was booked up on this particular Saturday nightThe only guests must have been in the room next to usThey were loud and hanging out in the hallway If the manager inspects each room before it’s booked, he overlooked some detailsRipped up lamp shades and cigarette holes in the bed spreads must be acceptableThere were items from previous guests left in the drawers and the bathtubIf items were left in the bathtub, this would indicate the tub was not even looked at, much less cleanedThe carpets were very damp all over, like they had been shampooed that dayThere were no mattress pads on the mattresses and the pillow cases were stainedThere are others who share my opinionPlease see the Yelp links below of other guests how have had similar experiences to mine:https://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=N4TrhZ9YsGEUny3wG-FduQhttps://www.... manager at Kileen avoided this dispute twice by claiming it was the Austin location, then on the third complaint, finally admitted that they are responsible for dealing with the Austin location, which shows how shifty they are with customersIf we had spent the night, I would not ask for a refundWe were in the room about minutes before we were so disgusted we wanted to leaveAfter this experience, I will never book a room without reading Yelp reviews.I realize that resolution by refund is probably hopeless, BUT I’ve not even been given an apology for our inconvenienceSince the refund seems unlikely, I would like this review posted on Revdex.com website to help warn others

To Whom It May Concern:This complaint is a total fraud.She is lying just to get a free room at our Hotel.She wants a refund, which we refuse
to give because she is lying.Our Hotel is regularly inspected by the Fire Department and the Health Department.The Hotel manager personally checks every room in the Hotel before any room is rented to a guest.Amco Hotel has new clean, fresh rooms and we fill up the rooms every night with no complaints at all.Here are some of our Hotel pictures

Hi, We have processed refund for amount $234.56 because the guest didn't stay in the room for the entire booked nights. Also to add, she made reservation thru 3rd party and they had issues sending the booking confirmation to us. The next day she was given an option to switch to a different room...

however she didn't accept it. Attached is the refund receipt and money has been reversed on the original form of payment.
