Review: I leased a new 2015 Prius from Lithia Toyota on Monday, November 24, 2014. Lithia cashed the down payment check the next day. The lease contract states that the car is to be driven no more than 60,000 miles over a three year term. Each mile over the 60,000 mile limit on contract states it will be charged at 10 cents per mile. On Friday, December 5, I received a call from a finance manager stating that Toyota will not honor that and insists I come back in to agree to a penalty of 15 cents per mile over 60,000 miles instead of the 10 cents per mile on contract. Lithia continues to repeatedly call me even though I have made clear to them that we have a contract agreement that I expect them to honor. It would've influenced my decision to lease the car in the first place if I would've known they were going to try to change the penalty to 15 cents per mile, which is a 50 percent increase from what is on the contract. I am simply asking Lithia Toyota to honor the terms of the contract that we both agreed to in writing on Monday, November 24, 2014. Lithia's behavior seems very suspect-- in a previous message, they indicated that the mileage penalty was "incorrect," and then in the most recent voicemail they left (12/8), they refer to the mileage penalty as a "mis-key"; clearly it is not just a typographical error. The message also says that Toyota won't do the lease contract without the mileage penalty being "fixed," and that the lender at Toyota financial won't adhere to the contract in its current form. This seems like nothing other than transparent attempts to strong-arm me into an ex post facto amendment of my lease agreement against my will. At this point, I am uncomfortable returning any more of Toyota's phone calls until I can get advice on how to proceed. Since they are calling daily, I am afraid they will next escalate to calling my work, which is unacceptable. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation on this matter.Desired Settlement: I would simply like Toyota to adhere to the initial signed agreement by both parties.

Review: My wife and I were told by the finance person that he was reducing the price of the lifetime oil change from $649 to $299 so we agreed to buy it. But he confused us with other figures and did not go over the final contract charges, instead distracting us with conversation about the new car. Later when we went over the paperwork at home we discovered the deceit. When we contacted his supervisors they said he was not authorized to offer a discount on that product. We were able to cancel the contract because of a provision in it.Desired Settlement: We feel that Lithia should apologize and offer us the lifetime oil change free of charge or something equivalent.
