Review: Have had difficulty getting our family medical records. In the fall, I applied for life insurance and this practice did not release the proper records and I was turned down for the ins. I called the dr. office, sent messages and got no where. I finally talked to the Life Ins. Company and they allowed me to reopen my application if I physically retrieved the records, which I was finally able to do after 3 months. Now we cannot get my husband's records, he needed them for his visit with his new doctor tomorrow. We went through the proper channels to obtain records and even sent 2 requests. Last week we received a call the records were ready. My husband took time off from work on Friday, to pick them up and pay the $35.55 fee for the records. However, when he arrived, they "knew nothing about the records and couldn't find them". [redacted], the woman in charge of records was to call us on Monday 7-28-14. No call was received. We do not owe the doctor any money and have always kept our scheduled appointments. We are frustrated beyond belief.Desired Settlement: We would like our records released immediately.
