We checked into the hotel on 3/9/(Husband, baby, pet)I noticed a faint smoke smell and musty smell when I entered the room *** while my husband noticed a mold/musty smellWe immediately also noticed that the carpet had been ripped up and placed back down due to some kind of water damage (could see concrete slab in the corners by the wall and faint water stains on lower wall)We knew every hotel in the area was completely booked for the weekend due to all of the local events (golf, Gasparilla music festival, strawberry festival, Spring break etc.) so since we are very easy going people, we decided to make the best of itWe also trusted that the Hotel would not put us in a hazardous room, especially since the Manager himself helped me get my luggage and baby into the roomOnly spent the night in the room and by the next day I noticed I had a slight coughI have a history of Allergic Asthma and the news had reported 'High Pollen? in the area for that day, so I did not want to
