Initial Business Response /* (1000, 4, 2015/10/25) */
Because we have accumulated a number of documents, emails and statements from staff and the wedding photographer, we are mailing in a packet of information. This packet is going in the mail on Monday, October 26th and should get to you by the...
October 29th deadline. However, we want to be sure you know that we take this claim seriously and needed the time to accumulate our facts and evidence for the correct response.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 6, 2015/10/27) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Nothing has been resolved. They make no gestures to fix their mistakes and won't even honor the deal they did make. We also have the documentation necessary to show what they promised us and the check to show what they did give us. It's half the promised amount.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2015/11/03) */
The documents we provided detailed every charge, as well as all items and services which were promised (including a copy of the check given to them after the event). All of which were delivered as agreed. In addition, we gave them credits on several things, which after further investigation of the facts, we discovered were based on incorrect and second-hand information the client was given by a few intoxicated and belligerent guests. We strongly feel we were upfront and clear with our client in every aspect of inclusions, expectations and charges throughout and planning process, the day of their wedding as well as followups after the wedding, and have provided detailed documentation, including statements from a number of our staff and their photographer to substantiate the facts as we found them. The client, however, has provided no documentation or evidence of any type to substantiate their claims.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 21, 2015/11/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The client feels there is no point in providing documentation. The lionsgate center blatantly lies in their "documentation" and attempts to argue a case where they weren't even present, so she takes the word of employees who would be at fault should they tell the truth. Of course her employees will say that my wife and I are at fault, because they value their jobs, but for her to use an employees testimony is like the kid at the [redacted] saying that macs are amazing. It's his job to do so. Now I could do what [redacted] does, and have all my family and friends wrote testimonies and then contact vendors and fabricate their responses to support my side, which is what lionsgate does, but if [redacted] at Lionsgate continues to lie about a situation she has no bearing on, then there is truly no point. Lionsgate does not wish to resolve this situation, and clearly just seeks to take advantage of the young consumers. Also, they may come back and say the photographer isn't biased to them and his statement holds true, but we were referred to him by Lionsgate. He's not gonna sacrifice a portion of his business to agree with a couple he'll never see again. This matter will remain unresolved
