Review: After being diagnosed on February 10th with Mononucleosis, I stopped going to Lionheart Gym. I cancelled my membership the day before. Not only did they not cancel my membership, they continued to bill me every single month without my knowledge. I started getting phone calls at the end of the school year, and immediately called LionHeart saying that I was no longer a member and was not planning on paying for a membership that I was not using. They told me I needed a month to cancel, so they would only bill me for the month I was cancelled. I went in and paid that in cash, and was told I was good.Today, I went into Lionheart to start my membership up again, and not only did they tell me that I owed $104.90, I would be billed another $70 to start up my membership again. I explained the situation, and after I was told that I could pay 3 different amounts (79.99, 59.99, 47.99) and could clear the debt, on top of the $70 they wanted me to pay. Needless to say, I walked out of LionHeart with promises to never return to the business. I am completely dismayed that they tried to do this to a student, and am furious.Desired Settlement: I would like the payment that I paid in cash in April to be completed, and only billed the $34 that they want for me to renew my membership. I understand their rules, but the business plan is completely flawed as they decided to continue to charge me for a service that I hadn't used since February 9th!
