This letter is in response to correspondence received by the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) which was forwarded to Linear Home Loans IncThis response is in regards to the financing of your mortgage loan with us
In your correspondence you stated the following: I was approved for a home loan over
three months ago, verbally and by emailI sent all my paperwork in and it took them over weeks to respond back after several attempts to follow up
Our records indicate that you began the refinancing process with us on April 4th at which time we requested the following items: One month’s paycheck stubs, two years tax returns, two years W2’s, two months bank statements, mortgage statements, homeowners insurance, borrowers authorization and government issued photo ID per Fannie Mae guidelines
Our records indicate that after repeated attempts to obtain the documentation you failed to provide all of the required items for your application to date
In your correspondence you stated the following: They came back and said there was an error on my employers paperwork and that was the reason for the delay
Our records indicate that the underwriter handling your file requested a verification of employment on August 15th per the underwriter’s conditional approvalThe following is the underwriters request: Verification of Employment Full written VOE breaking out Base and comm for the last yrs and YTD
Our records indicate per the underwriters request a verification of employment form was submitted to your employer on August 21st
Our records indicate that we received the completed verification of employment from your employer on August 27th The verification provided by your employer indicated that you have not received commission pay for the required two years
In your correspondence you stated the following: My employer spent a week researching why the paperwork had an errorThere account fixed the paperwork and sent a letter to Linear explaining why the paperwork was slightly different in income earned
Our records indicate that we received a letter from your employer describing a discrepancy in your year to date earningsHowever, the letter from your employer did not address the lack of two year commission history that was required per the underwriting guidelines
In your correspondence you stated the following: I tried following up several times after, because nothing has changed with my debt to income from my paperwork and they had already approved meLiner Home Loans has very personal information of mine, and they will not get back to me
Our records indicate that we informed you we had received a conditional approval from the underwriter handling your fileHowever, due to the discrepancy in your commission history you did not meet all of the conditions of your approval
Pursuant to state and federal law, Linear Home Loans is required to retain records of all loan applications for up to seven yearsThese records are retained digitally within Linear Home Loans loan origination system and access to these records is limited to certain Linear Home Loans employeesAny physical documentation received regarding a loan application is imaged into the system and then shredded by a bonded and insured document destruction companyAs we’ve confirmed, Mr***’s loan was cancelled within Linear Home Loans system on 09/19/Linear Home Loans does digitally retain his records for seven years as required by state and federal lawPhysical documents are shredded by a bonded and insured document destruction companyIn conclusion, we apologize that Mr*** felt like his experience with Linear Home Loans was anything less than satisfactory
