Line-X of Fredericksburg

Review: I took my brand new [redacted] to Line-X of Fredericksburg to have the interior sprayed with Line-X. The initial job took almost 2 weeks to complete and was so over timeline that Chris at Line-X had the [redacted] delivered to my house. Upon receiving the [redacted] I noticed that all four seat belt restraints were not secured properly. I also noticed the drivers seat was not secured properly to the body of the [redacted]. In addition to these safety issues, there was overspray from improper masking of the [redacted] at the time it was sprayed and the spray job itself presented numerous problems. The repair to the seatbelt restraints and drivers seat cost $900 and the overspray removal cost another $150. Both times Line-X of Fredericksburg reluctantly paid for these repairs. The [redacted] is currently at another Line-X shop undergoing repairs to the original spray job. This repair includes a complete sanding of the original spray job and a complete re-spray. The owner of Line-X of Fredericksburg is giving this other shop no monetary compensation to complete the job and as such the new shop has had my [redacted] for three weeks because they are working on it as a favor to Line-X of Fredericksburg. All one needs to do to is drive to the parking lot of Line-X of Fredericksburg and observe the cars on their lot in need of repair. My [redacted] has been out of my possession for two months during this whole process and is still in a state of disrepair.Desired Settlement: At a minimum, I think it is beyond reasonable for Line-X of Fredericksburg to refund me the original $600 I paid to them so that I can give the money to Old Dominion Line-X so that they can finish the job on time. I also don't think it is beyond reason to ask that Line-X of Fredericksburg reimburse me the cost of 2 months loan payments on the [redacted] since it has been out of my possession, due to their incompetence, for those months.
