retainer agreement signed by Mr. [redacted] confirming the fees are due and payable at the time of retention and there are no refunds. However, following the notification from Mr. [redacted] that he lost his job, despite our agreement and out of a genuine sense of fairness,  I agree to refund $600.00 of the 900.00 fee;  as we had already begun work on his case . Unfortunately, due to some  I did not provide  him a specific date and due to some unforeseen expenses I was not able to immediately refund the money but gave him a complete refund of $900.00 as soon as I was able.  
 
The refund  check, in the l amount of $900.00 was mailed via USPS Express mail on May 16, 2014, attached is the cancelled check, verifying he received and cashed the check.  I hope this addresses all of the issues regarding this complaint. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
