Linden Wash-O-Matic

Review: While at the Linden Wash-o-matic laundromat, I washed and dried my clothes only to have an entire load of white clothes ruined with brown marks after they were in the dryer for 50 minutes. When I spoke to the one employee on site, she asked me "Is there a crayon in the dryer" and immediately went to look at the dryer I used (#**). She immediately looked in the crevices of the dryer, where there was brown residue and said that she usually lets customers know that they need to check the dryer beforehand so as not to ruin their clothes. When I showed her that candy was sitting in another one, her response was a quick"Oh yea, I have to clean that" as though she was aware the candy was there but forgot to take it out. She offered to rewash them. When I asked if I could be reimbursed for my clothing if the marks didn't come out, she told me that her boss ([redacted]) was not nice enough to do that & would certainly not give me all of the money, if any, back. I allowed her to wash them and in the mean time she also got in contact with [redacted] through text message, told him the alleged crayon was not mine, and that she was rewashing my clothes. She informed me that this was what she told him via text message.The stains did not come out. I then spoke to [redacted] on his employee's phone & he was extremely rude with me from the beginning, saying in a loud voice that there was no way this was his or his company's fault, that he was not offering me anything for my damaged items, and followed up with other rude remarks about not wanting to speak to me. I informed him that I would follow up by reporting the company. I called the police to see what I could do, told them what happened, and showed them there were no signs that said "Wash-o-matic is not responsible for damaged items" and they told me I could file a complaint. I spoke to [redacted] once more to see if he would reason. He was rude again, offered me a $100 store credit to his laundromat but I no longer want to use their services.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the clothes that were damaged in their dryer.
