Lindel Painters

We recently had Lindel Painters paint the interior of our home. They were recommended to us by a neighbour because they had done an outstanding job on the exterior of their home.

Peter (owner/manager) provided a detailed quote, laying out the type and brand of paint he would use for each area, the preparation and repairs he would do (damaged drywall, cosmetic ceiling cracks, visible construction gaps, etc.) and specified how he would handle any special jobs (e.g. painting kitchen and built-in cabinets).

Peter and his team did an outstanding job. They are all hard working, highly competent, personable professionals. They arrived on time, were tidy, and struck the correct balance between being fast and providing a high-quality result. They always ensured we knew what the plan was for each phase and any changes they needed to make to their schedule.

Peter and his team went out of their way to ensure we were happy with the result. We made a change in the colour plan part way through the job. His team helped us with the decision by volunteering to paint a sample area to let us see if the idea worked. In areas exposed to more wear, they applied extra coats of paint when doing so would help. They took care in removing and reinstalling fixtures, drapes, valances, door and window hardware, etc.

The sprayed-on finish to the kitchen and built-in cabinets is outstanding. The kitchen cabinets proved challenging due to the glass in the doors not being removable, leaving the old colour exposed when looking at the inside of the door. Peter went out of his way to find a solution to mask the old paint by purchasing, precision-cutting and installing strips of vinyl tape that very effectively hides the old paint colour.

We will be using his team again to paint the exterior. We highly recommend Lindel Painters.
