Review: I had purchased a dance pole for my husbands birthday. It is called a disco dance pole and the price was $240.74. It was by the register in a 4 ft box. When the cashier brought it to the register, she opened it claiming she was checking for all parts. I found this odd as it was taped but figured this was their way of assuring it was ok. After purchase, the cashier carried it out towards my car.

When my husband received it and opened it, it obviously was NOT a new product. The remote and base is missing to I literally paid $240.74 for two disconnected poles that are useless. I tried to bring it back and explain. The woman behind the register would not even listen to what I had to say, told me no returns (which I find strange as there are clearly used clothing items for sale) and her behavior was quite rude. She repeatedly cut my off while talking and just wanted me and these pole pieces gone. I am concerned that this business is selling used products which can cause a serious health risk to the unsuspecting public.

When I contacted the distributer ([redacted]) the closest distributer is in [redacted] NJ. Love shack is not listed as a known distributer.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund mailed to me promptly and I feel the health department as well as department of consumer affairs should investigate this store for health and consumer violations.
