The customer was refunded on September 24th. May Aunt who was the Manager in charge of finances was having book-keeping problems. Issuing refunds to people who should not have refunds and not charging people who were staying at the hotel An MRI revealed she had brain cancer with 3-8 months to live....

The guest was informed of this and was told we would resolve it ASAP which unfortunately took longer than expected.

I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. Here is a copy of the email I sent to Revdex.com on Oct 2:      I wanted to update my complaint:  I have received a check for $387.51 from the Ocean House Hotel.  The total amount owed me was $421.20.  They gave no explanation for the missing $33 (perhaps this represented a tax issue or administrative cost?).  In any case I don't intend to pursue this further.  Thanks so much for all your help with this matter.
