Review: I have not received my wifes tax form for a student loan. I made numerous attempts to contact this institution over the course of a month or so. Every time I mention the problem to someone I am redirected to someone else. It is legally required that my tax form be in the mail as of January 31st. It is now March 6th and I have not received anything nor have I received any assistance whatsoever.Desired Settlement: I would like my tax form sent to me asap. I would also like to not have this issue next year.

I spoke with [redacted] and asked who the former student was that he was seeking information for. He informed me that it is his wife, [redacted]. She attended school as [redacted]. I advised [redacted] that his wife would not receive a tax form as she was not an enrolled student in 2013 ([redacted]) and the interest she paid on the loan did not meet or exceed $600 [redacted]). I did offer to send a copy of [redacted] card which would show interest paid in 2013. He stated he would like this information. I advised him I would have to send it to the address in our database unless his wife contacts us with a change of address. He said it was fine to send the information to the address in our database as that is her parent’s address. The address in the database is the address on the complaint so the information will be sent there.

Review: Firstly, Im severly [redacted] and had stated this from the get go to apply for grants/loans, this was never done and when I followed up on it I found I WAS elligiable but since I was already enrolled its too late. Maybe thats why my sales agent quit shortly after I was enrolled, either way it seemed pretty convient after the world of hurt I realized I was in. The first mod " instructor" talked more about [redacted] then he did ohms law, if he was even awake or present. For an electrical education at the fees they charge I think useing new/real wire for the projects should have been pretty critical. The tools Im paying interest on should have lastest through my four year apprenticeship wich most have not. Throught the year I was seriously harrassed by other students and no changes where made (if they make there payments they wouldnt kick anyone out) in fact one student failed more then one mod and was still passed with the remaining 10 students of our class. Wich I was told you have to retake the course had that been the case. Ive passed with a pefect attendance (wich I had to fight for since one instructor swore I wassnt there a day, and since I saved all my papers I was able to prove him wrong and he still tried arguing I missed a day)also recieved the directors award (I feel it was to keep me quiet and get me out of there hair) 4 years later of some of the worst riddicule and hummilation from other electricains poking fun at me and my faulty education, Ive failed my journeymens exam twice and feel I will fail the 3rd time. Wich will leave me with no other options but to start a new carreer over as I will no loanger be able to take the exam after that. This has left me in a very dark and bitter placeDesired Settlement: Id like for the remaining balance of my student loans to be wiped, also a free refresher coarse offered as I no longer have any money to pay for one my self do to the predatory loan and now not haveing a job. Since you cant higher a 5th year apprentice. I feel Ive been discriminated against for my hearing impairment and would seek an attorney if I could afford one.

Review: per their contract you can time out but before you do an attendance advisory will be done I only missed 1 hour in 3 months and they dismissed me 1 week before finals and at this point nothing I said (even with proof )was relevant they are playing with people and they are not honoring their contract nor the rules in their handbookDesired Settlement: I would like a refund to attend another school my record now is damaged because of them they filed financial aide and made me pay out of pocket every month because per them financial aide dose not cover everything.. now im stuck and no other school can take me because I have an account open which they have not closed. so I can purse further education with a better accredited school or even community collage

Review: I feel that this college didn't offer anything that was said to me or my class when we signed up.We were promised hands on training and we had none. Supposedly we are supposed to start it now but it's too late for some of us. I was pressured to take my A + certification to get an internship that I needed to graduate. We have 5 weeks left so I rushed and took it and failed. On top we were only given one voucher to take both parts of the test. I feel we didn't properly learn the material from the instructor we had when we started. The first two months of school we had no instructor. Then when we were given an instructor he didn't know how to feed us the material. As a class we kept complaining and after they switched us to the other instructor there the one we complained about was gone. Plus the course was supposed to be a year program accelerated. But because we didn't have instructor in the beginning and the fact the one we did get didn't know how to teach the material we always were behind. So we rushed through everything. Now my whole class may be on the verge of failing. Two of us failed the certification test and can't afford to take it again. While the rest feel they are not ready to take it. We talked to the director of education about it and he sent us all emails explaining what he was trying to do for us but this was 2 to 3 weeks ago and I feel he is just stalling until our year is over. It's affecting the other class as well 4 of them already left and their class just started.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my money back so I could actually go to a program where they actually let us learn on how to fix and troubleshoot computers by actually doing it. Which is what we were promised when we came to the school.

Review: I started going to Lincoln Technical Institute 1hrs drive for computer and network support recently the college change our classes of remote user for a course of costumer service that's was never listed on my school credits they fired our teacher for lieing in class and making stuff up they started giving grades for drawing and I got a bad grade because I don't know hot to draw good and its an IT class not art class I was being harass by 2 of the IT teacher because I always found out they make stuff out just to impress the other students now I cant graduate wasted a whole year and money for nothing also they sold us the course saying that it was all HAND ON and at the end they said it was computer simulator. they are other students in the same process as mine. I wasted 30 dolars of gas every day to go to a school full of lie they also said the course was only 1 year and they been adding stuff and playing with the courseDesired Settlement: I just want my money back and the money I spend daily for gas

Mr. [redacted] began in the Computer & Network Technician Program in January of 2013. He withdrew from the program in July of 2013. Since his withdrawal the Director of Education at Lincoln Technical Institute has been in contact with Mr. [redacted] several times to discuss the possibility of re-entry and completion of the program. Prior to receipt of this complaint on 1/27/14 Mr. [redacted] was tentatively scheduled to resume classes in February of 2014.

Review: The school failed to issue dipolma to me after atttending graduation and stated a balance was due after I finished ITT program. The school failed to apply for 2012-2013 federal pell grant/federal loans and did not notify me of any problem until over seven months after completing progam and I went in July 2013 to pick up dipolma. I was then told that a $2401balance was due. In their originating document, I was told in writing all necessary aid was awarded thru pell grants and federal loans. No balance was to be owed to school upon graduation. If there was a problem, whcih there should not have been, minimally,the school was to notify me in writing and work out agreeable payment plan. This was never done. if necessary, a "reaffirmation letter" was to signed by me if there was a issue with securing necessary funds. The financial aid director admitted in email that "they dropped the ball" and failed to file the necessary applications to receive the $4400 federal pell grant and $5500 in subsidized federal loans that had been awarded me for the 2012-2013 school year. Due to their incompetence, the June 30 2013 federal deadline passed before they realized a $2401 balance was due. They are now insisting on payment of $200 per month - even if govnerment loans had been secured it would be an additional $24 per month to the already $60 and $87 per month I am repaying in federal student loans. Further, there was no need for federal loans because the $3500 additional pell grant available to me would have more than covered the $2400 balance. I am currently unemployed - looking for a job. I have had several calls to resolve matter with no success.

Further, they promise lifetime career placement help, they have not returned emails or calls about help with career placement. The helped secure a 2 week job in June 2013.Desired Settlement: I wish to receive the dipolma I financed over $18000 to receive and no longer receive communication about the "bad debt" they should write off to their own incompetence. futher, they should assist in help securing me a job which is what they promised.

I was supposed to be in Lincoln Tech as a welder student doing commuting with another student. Though with in the guide lines we couldn't take our tiol boxes home until locked in. They had a huge meeting in the auditorium because our loans did not go through with [redacted], so we had to reapply though school was already in session everybody did not get to apply in a timely fashion. I went to financial aid several times that week. They kept telling me my turn will come and they would be staying late to make sure we all received our loans. I still have the [redacted] Loan paperwork and been trying to resolve it, because I received a phone call from there Pennsylvania billing department stating I old them over $7000 and could not return to school until the amount was paid in full. With in two weeks it was on my credit report. In my contract I was supposed to finish school with career placement opportunities and had time to start paying it back. I never received a loan and felt I was played for money because they didn't either have time to do my financial aid package or was scamming from the beginning and the person I commute with was kicked out too. With the same dilima. Though my brother finished and couldn't graduate because he didn't obtain his ged there. I should've known then!

Review: I paid a registration fee to attend school. I was given five days to cancel and receive my $50.00 registration fee back. I decided within the allotted time not to attend this school and spoke to my representative, [redacted], about it. I told her I was requesting my registration fee to be reimbursed and she agreed to this because it was within the timeframe. I have not received my money back not a return phone call from the many messages left for her and her superior.Desired Settlement: I simply want my refund due to me of $50.00
