I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution to be a start to a final resolution but does not resole the issue. I will fax a copy of the receipt to the business and I will wait until for the business to perform an action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved at that time. This in no form says that this is resolved by accepting this response.

I appreciate the fact, that Lincoln Publications is looking into the matter. However, I...
cancelled the subscription order within the 3 business days allotted to me, (3 day right of rescission) and on the back side of the receipt order, it states, if the cancellation is submitted within 3 business days, which it was, then a full refund would be given to me once my check cleared the bank, and a refund for the full amount would be mailed to me within 10 days of the check clearing, in which case, my check has cleared the bank over a month ago, still NO REFUND!!!!! All I want is MY $48.00 DOLLARS REFUNDED TO ME A.S.A.P., as the receipt states it would be. It is plain black and white, no gray area...so PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY!!!!! I am very disappointed in this company and the door to door salespeople they employ! In my honest opinion, this company is out to rip off any consumer they can, since they do not take care of their business as stated on their receipts. I sent a letter with the required cancellation copies needed to cancel the subscription to the magazine I had ordered, and the company NEVER ONCE TRIED to contact me. I believe they chose to ignore my cancellation letter and notice, and they also have very poor customer service...my phone number was included in the letter, they could have easily called me, as well. I don't understand what else they need to look into this matter. I have submitted a copy of my cancellation letter, and a copy of the receipt and a copy of the cancellation on the back of the receipt, as well. All the evidence needed has been provided. All that is left is for this company to do the right thing, and mail me my check of $48.00. Thank you.

We have received your letter and have...
looked into this matter. We have pulled all of the orders for that entire day from not just your agents but all of our agents and we did not even collect a total of cash for $688 for the entire day from all of our agents. We have spoken to the agents in question and they remembered GIVING you free subscriptions from donations that they had received for the day. This practice is not something that we condone and the agents have been terminated. If you can prove that the $688 was in fact given and was all from your pocket, such as an ATM withdrawl slip or bank withdrawal slip we can proceed with this matter further. All of your magazines were processed by the fulfillment center prior to this case being filed and they should be received shortly.
We had an incorrect address on file and have reordered your magazine for you.
