Review: I took my car in for a diagnostic. I was told by one person that the Starter and Valve Cover Gasket had to be replaced immediately and that the Radiator needed to be replaced eventually. He also told me I needed an oil change, even though I received one recently and still had 50% oil life. Then I was told by a second person, that the Radiator had to be fixed and the Starter/Gasket could wait. I asked them if they did a starter test and they were unaware of the simple test used by shops like Advanced Auto Parts. I paid the $48 diagnostic fee and took my car to Advanced Auto Parts and another mechanic for a second opinion. The Starter and Valve Cover Gasket are perfectly fine and do not need repair in the least bit. I paid for a false diagnostic and if I hadn't taken the car elsewhere, would have paid for repairs that were entirely unnecessary.Desired Settlement: I believe the shop needs to refund my diagnostic fee, since it was wrong and 3 hours of my morning was wasted.
