Review: In January, some friends bought me a $75 gift certificate for this salon, and I went to the salon on March [redacted] for a pedicure and a gel manicure (a $59 service). When I presented my gift certificate at the end, the woman who did my nails said that she didn't recognize the name on the signature of the gift certificate (even though it was clearly a gift certificate from their salon), and made me charge the $59 to my credit card (excluding tip). She asked me to come back later on in the afternoon when the [redacted] was there to have it taken off. I was pretty surprised by this request, but I agreed.I returned to the salon that evening. The [redacted] acknowledged the gift certificate and took my card to remove the charges. Yet when I checked my bank statement a few days later, I realized that she actually charged me $59 AGAIN. So, after realizing this mistake on my bank account, I went back a few days later (On March [redacted] or [redacted]). The [redacted] took my credit card number and name and said she would call the bank to remove the charges. She also called the following day to say that the charges would be removed within a week.It has now been close to three weeks since I was originally charged, and the charges still have not been removed. I have tried calling the salon numerous times (I've been unable to physically go due to work) - the [redacted] is never there, and she has never returned my calls. I'm now concerned because, not only have I not been refunded the $118, but she now has my credit card information.Desired Settlement: I would like the full refund of $118, plus the additional $16 that was remaining from the gift certificate ($75 - $59 = $16). So, $118 + $16 = $134.
