We called to cancel home internet service on December 13th, 2018 and received confirmation that our account was canceled and no other action was needed. We have continued to receive bills for January, February, and March. We have contacted the company each time. The first time they assured us that our account was canceled and we had just received our final bill, even though each month is paid in advance. The second month we were told that our account was indeed closed, and they would refund us for the prior two bills. They did so, but several days later we received another bill. Our account was set to auto-pay, and this setting can only be changed by contacting the company, so it has been automatically withdrawn from our account each month.

To Whom it May Concern: LightSpeed Networks, Inc (dba LS Networks, dba Quantum Communications) understands there has been a complaint regarding inaccurate billing on this account. Our understanding of the events are as follows: The customer requested service be terminated on 12/13/18. Based on the existing contract, customer must give notice 30 days in advance, so customer service was terminated on 1/13/19On January 1, 2019 we processed our normal January invoice for January Service as the service had not been terminated.On January 7, 2019 the customer’s credit card was charged based on the recurring billing charge set-up for payment.On February 1, 2019 no invoice was sent.On February 7, 2019 the customer’s credit card was charged based on the recurring billing charge set-up for payment.On February 8, 2019 a Credit Memo was issued to the customer for the service period January 14 through January 31 and a refund of 24.51 was processed.In February the customer disputed the Feb 7 credit card charge and was credited on their credit card. On March 10, 2019 LS Networks became aware that auto billing was still instated due to a system error. LS Networks staff removed the auto bill provision and the customer’s payment information. In order to further remedy this error, during the week of March 18, 2019 a refund for $39.99 will be processed and mailed to the customer at their address on file. LS Networks apologizes for any frustration this error may have caused and appreciates the opportunity to remedy the situation.
