01/09/17. The body shop should have the check by now but Accounting says the check has not been cashed as of yet. Also, I see from the notes that Lighthouse Claims spoke with the complainant a few times over the course of the investigation, including a call on 01/06/17 where the Claims associate explained to the complainant that all they need to do is submit their rental receipt for reimbursement; the handling adjuster provider a fax number where to send the rental receipt.At this time, I will notify the claims adjuster to contact the body shop as a follow up on whether they received the check or not.Thank you,[redacted]

They're quick with responding & very friendly. They're the first insurance company I've had under my own name and couldn't be happier with them.

We sent them the offer and left a message but still no response. We, too, like Mr. [redacted], would like to complete this claim,...

however, we have not heard back from his company.
We understand this has been a long process and at times the complainant may feel like we hadn't called him back in a timely manner. However, we may have been waiting for documentation, such as a police report for example, and were waiting to gain this info to update the claim before contacting them back. Lighthouse Casualty must complete their investigation in order to safeguard our insureds over the claim process.

This response is not accurate. [redacted] has contacted them the following day on 4/15 with no response since. So to say we are waiting to hear back is completely false, if they ever decided to check their voicemails and return calls they will notice [redacted] is awaiting a response from them not the other way around. These third rate insurance companies are such a fraud and unethical by not paying claims out. I am appalled to have to contact them as it always leads to dishonestly and illegal code of conduct. I am looking for resolution to never have to work with them again and add to the list of poor reviews as a clear sign of how this organization should be further reviewed by the Revdex.com.

Lighthouse negotiated a settlement between Mr. [redacted]'s carrier. We settled on an agreement and the claim amount was agreed upon by both parties.
Lighthouse received the signed settlement document and the check was requested and sent via USPS.

We spoke to the insured, or his representative, on several occasions and lastly, spoke with his mother, who later OK-ed the...

work to begin on his vehicle. She said she had worked in insurance and understood that Lighthouse was completing its due diligence. We contacted the insured to notify him that his mother approved the repairs to begin on his vehicle. He agreed as well.
We settled the claim on February 19, 2015, faxed the approval to the body shop and issued payment for the repairs.
His claim is now closed and his vehicle is in the process of being fixed. Thank you

unfortunately some people do not respond when their insurance company contacts them. She was advised to provide her medical bills. At this time, we have not received word from our insured. Lighthouse apologizes if this claimant has had a sour experience with our company but until we are working toward a resolution. Without hearing from the insured, this will take some time.Thank you,

After being hit by someone with Lighthouse Casualty Insurance, I have tried on numerous occasions to start a claim and have left several messages regarding the claim. Only after my insurance went after them, did they finally call to verify some information. They sent me to a collision shop that was very rude and was told I would receive the estimate via email the next morning. That was five days ago and after being on hold with Lighthouse for a half hour, the phone just rings and disconnects. I have left several messages for a return call and have not heard anything more. I highly recommend NOT using the company and pray you don't get hit by someone who does.

My son was accidentally part of an accident. His car was tapped by another car after it was hit and rolled. It did practically nothing to his car. However they have been calling me for information, yet when I turn a call they send me to an answering machine.it took four days , and spending two solid hours on the phone the fourth day, to get to talk to the original person who called me. Who then couldn't even provide me with any information except my claim (never filed one) was denied (huh?) and the letter she sent me was the denial of claim (I've read it four times now, plus had someone else read it. It doesn't even MENTION a claim or its denial. But somehow I was psychically supposed to understand that?)

I asked for one thing after all of this, a letter telling me they do not need any information from me. She can't even provid that. She promised to let this now mad old man talk to a supervisor, but couldn't even do that, claiming he was in a meeting, and when I said she could interrupt a meeting she just tried to tell me she would have to end the conversation with this even angrier old man.

I am rejecting this response because:  This insurance company should be shut down. I was NEVER told that I would only be reimbursed for rental car for the time my vehicle was in the shop!! That's a boldfaced  lie. Your policy holder was at fault and put my vehicle out of commission since 11/30/2016. I work and need my car. I should not be without a car when I was never at fault. It was not my delay either. This insurance company left me without a car for 2 months not because of my delay but because of THEIR delay. I'm already losing money because of an only $20 dollar a day reimbursement. This accident was YOUR INSURED FAULT. I want reimbursement for the total number of days I was without my car. I will be expecting full day reimbursement or I will need to file a lawsuit against the insured........ and as I'm sure they know already,  my receipts were faxed yesterday morning. I am not letting this go without getting reimbursed for everyday I waited for my car.

At this time, we have received a few phone calls now from a man who says he is the new owner of the complainant's vehicle but she wants to continue the claim through Lighthouse. The man calling says he represents the complainant,...

then says he is the new owner; he is very rude and our calims associates have noted that he is not a pleasant individual on the phone. We explained to him that the insured/complainant would need to contact us directly so that we may speak with him about the claim. We will speak to the adjuster about not receiving or returning calls and ask that the complainant call us about her "representative".Thank you again,

How on God's green earth is this company Revdex.com accredited? One of their insured rear-ended me 11 months ago and they just sent me coorespondance. It took me going to the IL state insurance regulatory arm to get anything done. Abysmal is how I would rate Lighthouse.

call to the complainant, I see that the adjuster has been in touch with the complainant's carrier, not directly with the complainant. I also see that an offer has been made to the complainant and she refused it on 04/06/17. On 04/07/17, the complainant sent an email to the adjuster saying she would see her in court.Thank you,[redacted]

America for an explanation of benefits. Lighthouse would be a secondary payment coverage in this case as the Lighthouse policy clearly states that Medical Coverage Payments are secondary to any other collectible insurance. At this time, I do not see any response from Medical Reimbursement of America. If we can get the explanation of benefits from them, we can move the claim forward.Thank you,[redacted]
