Cody Howran, the proclaimed “boss” of
Liftlock Home Improvements Unlimited proudly demonstrating that he lives up to the reputation claimed in the one-star reviews below.
Not only did Cody see it fit to air this complaint with the entire community of Bobcaygeon, but he resorted to aggressive retaliatory remarks when respected members of the community chose to challenge his views. This disproportionately escalated to Cody stating that he was actively purchasing a bush bar for his truck with the intent of causing grievous injury and property damage to vehicle owners and their vehicles for using “his” gas pump. He also, for an unknown reason, deemed it appropriate to threaten/yell at (by his definition) an “old woman” should she ever prohibit his ability to pump gas.

As others have stated in their reviews, Cody has a habitual practice of resorting to threats, tantrums, and aggression when people call into question the quality of his work or breaches in contract.
I have offered these screenshots of his comments to demonstrate the behavioural capacity of this business owner and substantiate others’ claims.

Before contracting work to Liftlock Home Improvements Unlimited, please consider that if he will act this way on a community-based forum in response to a hypothetical scenario, just how quickly he could escalate a contract-dispute at your home.

Not well done. Tub tiles not spaced well. 2 different colours of grout used. Tiles not flush with the wall. Trim cut bad. Pieced together in chunks. Silicone disappearing. Had to hire another contractor. All trim taken down. Had to buy new trim. Needs to be repainted. What a mess. Do not hire. Lift lock home improvements unlimited. They might be good roofers but don’t know how to do bathrooms.

I needed my eavestrough repaired I gave a down payment of $300 dollars to *** the *** of the company Liftlock Home Improvement on Dec 09 19. On Dec 24 19 *** a worker of *** came to the house and said he was there to do the work and to collect $500 dollars to give to *** for the work he did that day.
So I gave *** the $500 dollars to give to ***. Dec 25 2019 found eavestrough leaking worse called *** to let him know I left a message. On Dec 27 *** called me back and said he would be here on Mon *** and another worker came on Monday and put drip strip up and told me that it was fixed. Then he asked me for $500 dollars and I said what for I already paid *** the money and he was to give it to you. *** yelled that *** stole the money off of me and he and the worker raced off. *** called me and asked if I would tell the police what *** had said and done I said yes. My eavestrough is still leaking and *** will not return my many phone calls he has had his mother call to say he would be at my house on Monday, Feb 10 2020 and he never showed up.I have made over twenty phone calls and he will not answer his phone
