Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: This business is not being truthful about not having my informationThe day I went in to get my things, I had to sign a document that had my name and addressAlso logic tells you they would have not released my belongings if my ID didn’t match the name the storage unit was under.I went in to their offices on Monday asking for a copy of the document I had to sign before retrieving my belongings First the girl assisting me said she didn’t have anything under my nameI, of course, refused the answerShe went in the back, and came back saying she didn’t have access to my filesI asked what does that even mean, and if they didn’t keep records of their costumersShe then went on to say that since my things were not being kept there anymore she didn’t have access to it because all documents were sent to my landlordThis makes no sense because why would they send documents to my landlord; second even if that were true any business would have kept copies for their recordsFurthermore, while talking to this girl I saw the owner, and I ask her to please tell him I would like to speak to himShe gave a very rude and answer saying that I don’t need to speak to him, that what she said that’s what it wasI had to ask her three more times to ask him, every time met with a rude answerThe owner was behind their counter and she literately only had to turn and ask him, although I know he saw me and could hear meHe declined to speak to me, and said he was in the middle of a meeting- mind you I could see him standing-not in a meeting- through the glass.I called my landlord, and of course they confirmed they did not receive any documentsWhich is further prove this company is lying and trying to hide documents to not take responsibility -I included a receipt along this response- In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]
Through the receipts we found [redacted] records - that being said - Liffey Van Lines, Inc were hired by [redacted] landlord to move her belongingsThis is why [redacted] did not appear in Liffey Van Lines records as she did not hire Liffey Van LinesThe claimant indicated that a fee of $was paid (we have no record of that) The moving fee is paid by the lanlord as is the first days of storageBreda (not Brita) from the storage company New York SStorage (different company)issued the receipts for handling and storage after the days which the landlord paid for - again the amount does not match $925.00Liffey Van Lines inventory was checked in and out of storage and all items collected were released from storage the unit was vacatedI understand the frustration of not being able to locate some of the items and if for some reason the items showed up at our facility [redacted] would be my first callAs our storage units are all room lock and key this will not be the case as we run many checks not to not have this happen including as already stated an inventory check in/check out.As [redacted] stated we recommended checking with the landlord to see if items were left in the apartment - another recommendation would be to check with the Marshall's office for a copy of his inventory as legally he would have been the first person to the enter the apartment and his inventory should reflect what was there prior the to the moving company or anyone else accessing your apartment.I do hope [redacted] finds her items but I do know Liffey Van Lines do not have possession of them
