We have researched all concerns outlined in the complaint and would first like to apologize for any dissatisfaction they've hadIn an attempt to streamline our response, we will address all issues in the following three categories:
financing, installation and serviceIn regards to financing, the customer says they were promised year interest free however we have signed contracts that clearly state the APR and expected minimum payment amount (copies to be provided upon request)The interest is also listed on every bill, yet prior to this, it hadn't been mentionedThe complaint says they tried to cancel but the financing company makes a recorded verification call where they are asked if they understand they've past the cancellation date and are now financially responsibleAt which time, no mention of an attempt to cancel was madeThey reference our assurance guarantee where we refund the total cost if a system is found meeting certain conditions (blank copy attached), yet our first documented conversation was within the days and no mention was made of a system meeting that criteriaAnd lastly, the issue of the lien; according to the finance company, they are able to subordinate the lien in order to refinance the home if they agree to specific terms which is out of our controlRegarding the installation, we always aim to complete the job in one day but are more careful to provide a quality custom install rather than attempt to rush the jobNow to the issue of service: we apologize for any confusion with our staff and have not only expanded that department to meet the demand; but we are also refining our expectations for that teamWith that said, to avoid any future misunderstandings, please know that we are unable to give windows of arrival any sooner than the morning of the service to account for emergency calls throughout the eveningThe technicians logistically route their day first thing in the morning and call customers no later than 10:am with a two hour window of arrivalMore importantly than any of that, we would like to make ourselves available to come to the home and double check the equipment as soon as possibleWe want to explain the system and make sure everything is in proper working orderWe are grateful for their business and want to do whatever we can to prove that

We have used the water softening services of Lifetime Solutions for about years We have the same technician each time (Tony), and find him to be honest, reliable, and timely The company has always been very responsive to requests and questions We would definitely recommend them

We have discussed this matter with the selling
distributor, Lifetime Solutions located in Victorville CaliforniaAccording to our dealer, the competitor who looked at the RainSoft equipment doesn't support RainSoft and in their opinion felt things should have been done differentlyThe dealer would also like to point out that the competitor's warranty does not compare to RainSoft, which is the strongest warranty in the market placeWe have been assured by our dealer that the RainSoft equipment installed at the customer's home is working properly, but in an effort to address any concerns that the system is too small, the dealer is willing to install a larger unit at no chargeLifetime Solutions apologizes for missing their appointment last week and is currently trying to reschedule the appointment with the customer

HI, AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSEPLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGY TO YOU, I THOUGHT RAINSOFT WAS PART OF THE LIFETIME COMPANY SINCE YOUR NAME IS ON THE PAPERWORK AS WELLHOWEVER, LIFETIME DID MAKE THEIR MISTAKE AS AT LEAST ONE EMPLOYEE WAS HONEST TO ADMIT AFTER MUCH DENIAL FROM HIS SUPERVISORS OF EVER MAKING MISTAKESTHEY DID SCHEDULE A SWAP OUT AND MISSED THEIR OWN APPOINTMENTI SPOKE WITH THE INSTALLER SCHEDULED TO COME, HE WAS WORKING APPROXIMATELY MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOME BUT NEEDED ABOUT MORE HOURS AFTER THE SCHEDULED TIME TO COMPLETE HIS WORKI WAS ASSURED AGAIN, THAT LIFETIME WOULD CONTACT MEAFTER DAYS OF NO CONTACT I CALLED THE HOME DEPOT WHO WAS ALSO FRUSTRATED WITH LIFETIME FOR DELAYING SO LONGEVENTUALLY HOME DEPOT STEPPED OUT AND TOLD ME I WAS ON MY OWNLIFETIME LIED TO ME AND SAID THE INSTALLER WAS COMING FROM VICTORVILLE WHICH IS WHY HE COULDNT MAKE IT

After we installed the system for Mr***, he had a competitor come out to his home to compare what they had vswhat he purchased from usRainSoft's Assurance Guaranty assures consumers that it has the strongest warranty in the industry and more third party certifications to back its equipment performance claimsThe Assurance Guaranty stood up in this case and has done so for thirty yearsMr*** still wanted the system removed and his money refunded because the competitor offered a bigger system for considerably less moneyEven though the system is working fine, we agreed to upsize the system at no charge, in order to make him feel better about his purchaseThe scheduled day to change out the unit; was scheduled in the afternoon when he got home from workThe installer who was scheduled, started another job in the morningThis particular job ran into way more time than the installer anticipated and he couldn't just leave that homeSo our installer called Mr*** and told him that *** (the installation manager) would have to reschedule the change out*** found out Monday that this change had happened and tried to call Mr*** to rescheduleMr*** would not return calls to *** and made the complaint to the Revdex.comWe are more than willing to do the free upgrade and I am also willing to compensate Mr*** for his time since he may have left work early on the originally scheduled change out dayWe have had three people reach out to Mr***, *** our installation manager (who has not spoken with him yet), *** our sales manager and ** our general ManagerIn each case Mr*** has rejected the offer, which is: Upgrade the size of his currently working system, a free filter change on his drinking system at the end of one year, and compensate him $for lost work time on the reschedule of the change outWe want very happy customers and I feel this is a generous offer made by our management teamTo pull the system and refund all costs is quite prohibitive, the cost to install both in materials and labor are lost, the equipment is now used and devalued, there would be cost to remove and recondition the equipment and other labor costs involvedIt is one thing to accept the losses when we have clearly wronged a customerIn this case, from the very first call by Mr***, it has been about removing the system and refunding his money because of discussions he had with a competitor

James M[redacted] came out last weekend and serviced out softwater system and RO system. Great experience, very informative and helpfull, he explained to me how to replace the the filters so I could do the same at my inlaws.

Chuck W from Lifetime Solutions INC. serviced my water treatment system. He was very polite, knowledgeable and thorough.

Hector T[redacted] came to our home to serve our water system (Rain Soft). He was very good in his work, very attentive. He answered all our questions and went about his work very efficiently. He took very goof care of all our belongings (he even covered his shoes while inside the house!). Overall, his work was outstanding; we were very satisfied with all he did. He is to be commended.

Always a pleasure doing business with this company. They will bend over backwards to make their customers happy. I have had a couple of problems over the past year, and they came quickly to address them. Also explained why it was happening. I am very pleased with them.
