There is this rash of dental providers in Colorado Springs that are completing scalings on customers that do not need them and the insurance companies are not covering the chargesI see this at work when dentists are sending bills to consumers that have Medicaid and no way to pay these bills I was upset that both times my husband went to this dental office for a ROUTINE cleaning, they decided he NEEDED to have a full scalingWhich is the highest tier of the dental cleaningsInsurance WILL NOT pay for this unless the office can prove it is medically necessary, which means the person had bone loss, or periodontal diseaseI was billed bucks both times and had to pay out of pocketI asked them why they didn't explain this to him before doing itThey told me they did months ago at the first cleaningIt is very painful and can cause abscesses and other problems when they totally open up all your gumsA week after they did this he had to see another dentist, as food got in al
I have seen DrB*** for over years for dental careHe is always gentle and always provides the best dental experience- I can't imagine going anywhere else!
