One should always read reviews before approaching any business. The internet is filled with one-star reviews from people who paid fees upfront and were told after about a week that their applications would not proceed any further and that the funds were nonrefundable. This was made even worse by obviously insincere pap and pablum about how there were no specific reasons for the decision, and how now that they had the money they wished us all the best in our path to adoption. This is fraud plain and simple and they ought to be given a path to the penitentiary.

Is organization has many shady practices. Their contract can be described as an adhesion contract. The hopeful adoptive couples has to sign away all their rights in order to work with them. Any mistakes made by this organization are the problem of the hopeful adoptive couples, not the organization. They will never refund you anything and a large percentage of the couples trying to adopt will fail. Never ending pleas for additional funding. Also, it is questionable if this organization has ever had the number of adoption situations it claims. The reason it states that the longest waiting time is just two years, is that they dismiss couples who have waiting longer than two years. And just like many other similar organizations, they have a few successes, demand these successful couples share their story far and wide to bring in a majority of their contracted couples who are not successful with adoption. And they are very clear to let you know that you are the reason for your failures, not them.

This company will take your money along with your dream to adopt a child. My husband and I worked with them and did everything they asked, after putting a hefty payment down, and 4 years later we still had no hope for Lifetime coming through in any way with an adoption. We were robbed financially and emotionally by Lifetime.

I would highly recommend Lifetime Adoption to couples looking to adopt. My husband and I searched thru and talked to many adoption professionals as we started our adoption. Lifetime had EVERYTHING we wanted. 24 hour help, a successful track record, large staff, help for the birth mothers, people who really care who we are and what our hopes are, and most importantly a strong belief that WE would adopt. We weren't just a number with Lifetime, we were family. If you are a Christian family hoping to adopt a baby, learn about Lifetime Adoption and then give it to God. He lead us to our beautiful daughter [redacted] and he will guide you too!

I would advise anyone to steer clear of Lifetime if you are looking to adopt. I feel like they are in it for the money and take advantage of people who really want to be parents. You have to pay all the money upfront before you can be presented and there is no guarantee that you will get chosen and no money is returned if it never works out. My husband and I worked with Lifetime for 3 years, did everything they asked, kept everything up to date and never got a single phone call from them. And they still wanted more money to continue keeping our file active. I would encourage you to work with an agency.

We love Lifetime! We were new to adoption and they walked us through each step we needed. After we applied, we always had someone available to us through the whole process and journey. The waiting time was a challenge, but through the webinars they do we never felt alone or forgotten. We knew what to do during this time to make the most of it. We were finally picked after about 9 months (same time as pregnancy lol) and matched with a birthmama who was being helped by her mom. She had our sweet baby about 4 motnhs later. We are still in touch and are so thankful for her. Lifetime did exactly what they said, and we could not be happier! We wholeheartedly recommend that you use their adoption services.

My wife and I have adopted twice through Lifetime and we have gladly referred multiple friends to them. Our experiences were very positive, and the Lifetime staff are so knowledgeable in helping both the adoptive parents and the birthparents who each have their own desires and needs throughout the process.

We know, and Lifetime agrees, that both of our adoptions happened through God's grace and in His timing, but we simply couldn't imagine trying adoption without the great people at Lifetime Adoption. We even had the privilege of taking our new daughter to the Lifetime office and seeing everyone in person and were treated like royalty. We were not just clients, but embodied all their hard work in one very happy family. We'll never forget that day!
