LifeSpring Academy

First, thank you for the ability to bring an issue to light. This particular issue involves my daughter, who is a freshman, and the school she attended from the beginning of the 2019 school year to February 4rth, 2020. Her tuition was $495.00/mo. My daughter is a bright child eager to learn. She is already planning college. She takes great pride in her GPA. She's been homeschooled, so we thought Lifespring Academy was a great fit as the class sizes are small and the overall atmosphere was a comfortable learning environment. Now to the problem. My daughter had Spanish 1. She had one semester, and started up again for the 3rd quarter. She came home from school with 2 papers. She was supposed to learn numbers 1-10, days of the week, the months, and colors. I also also also asked her to share with me what she learned first semester. She said the assignments were done in English. There was little to none actual learning of Spanish. She also shared in her earth and environmental science class they have a substitute who'd been there from at least the start of the 3rd quarter. He basically told the class he didn't know anything about the subject, so they could do as they pleased! My daughter begged me not to say anything. She was worried someone might be fired. I did approach the principal, Ms.. My mother was with me, as she helped me with the tuition. We voiced our concerns, and also told her my daughter was not in favor of our speaking up. The principal assured us the she would deal with the situation. The next day I picked up my daughter and she was upset. The principal had confronted her about how she should always go to her for anything. She said 'We're all family here. She told her she didn't need to involve her family. When we got home I immediately called the school and told them I was pulling her out. So she's in *** High, and adjusting well.
