I purchased an LG washer 3 years ago. It recently quit working locking my clothes inside. I called a repairman and the computer had gone out due to a recall I was never notified about. I contacted LG and was told 3-5 business days or 24-48 hours I would have a resolution. It has been 5 weeks and they sent the recall part without the computer board. My clothes are still locked in my washer. I would never recommend purchasing an LG product unless you like being on hold for 20-40 minutes and enjoy speaking to someone that does not speak English and you do not expect to get your product fixed. It has cost me more at the laundromat than if I would have ordered the part and had my washer repaired at my own expense. Do not purchase LG appliances.
