Review: This company was hired to provide me with some help with household chores. It took an entire month of playing phone tag with the director whom stated she called me several times but never actually did. When she did, she did not leave a voice-mail so I had no way of knowing it was her. Finally, a woman comes, hired for three hours. When she left I had to rewash my floors as there was cleaner left all over them and they were sticky. I had to rewash all my dishes because she did NOT use soap and they not only smelled like vomit from old milk, they were covered in food and grease. I was so shocked. After an hour and a half this woman decided she was going to stop assisting me and talk the entire time. Which is exactly what happened from 3:15 to 4:45. These people are hired to assist the elderly and disabled and they are not doing that. I am only speaking up on the behalf of those who can't or do not know any better. This is unacceptable incompetence and they should not be able to get away with it.
Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
I want them fix their company and do what they are hired to do.

Ms. [redacted] must be mistaken, her accusations are all false. Ms [redacted]'s case manager made several calls to her concerning the start date of her service but could not reach her. We tried to reach her using the same phone number and left few messages and received no calls back from her. Finally on 3/20/2013, we were able to get a hold of her and she told us that she does not pick up her phone because she is usually at sleep. We set up 3/27/13 as a start date for her service. When our aide arrived at Ms. [redacted]'s residence, she had to wait for thirty minutes before Ms. [redacted] could let her in. The Lifeline aide was at her home to service her only once. There were no dishes to be washed. Ms [redacted]'s dishes were in the dishwasher when the aide arrived.
Ms. [redacted] wanted Lifeline Nursing to divide the weekly three hours that was allocated for her service into two days per week, at one and a half hours each, which the aide could not do. When we could not honor her request, she became upset and began making up stories about the aide.
Any other questions pertaining to this matter should be further to [redacted]'s social worker at the Dept. of Social Services - New Haven, Ct.
