Ms***'s concerns have been looked into by site staff and most recently during a rental license inspection for the City conducted by the Fire Department. No concerns were noted. Ms*** may be 'confused' and we have brought this to the attention of her family
House rules are
included at move in and are only changed with a day notice. We do not allow doors to be left open but can not monitor 24/7. The addition of cameras this summer may address this problem. Use of candles or incense are not allowed per our No Smoking policy and House Rules. The residents properly maintaining their apartment is required per the Lease
At this point, per Ms***'s daughter, Ms*** has been hospitalized. We will wait to deal with Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services to discuss Ms***'s concerns, the fact that House Rules are included in every move in packet, that Management tries to be proactive when on-site to address Resident concerns, etc
I am rejecting this response because:
I am rejecting this response because: The situation with the water heater has not been addressedThe water temperature still fluctuates every time you take a showerThe fire department did inspect and it did find problems as I have a copy of the inspectionBlaming someone who does not have Alzheimer's as being "confused" Is a cheap shot not worthy of a company that serves the general publicThey do treat "house rules" the same way as a lease but change them without notifying the resident and giving them a chance to sign itThis is illegal periodI am not concerned about what is in the restrictions in the "house rules" I am concerned that none of the residents get a copy of them and that they changed them without giving residents a chance to sign themAlso the company's new manager has come to my apartment without a notice for no reason other then to argue about the changes in the house rules which she made sound like it was in the lease , she has done this on two separate occasions, she also repeatedly called me to argue about the house rules and I ended up having to turn off my phoneDid the company "forget" to teach her about Minnesota rules? This is also illegal periodI have contacted southern Minnesota regional legal services who agreed to represent me and address these issuesSince the company refused to address two of the most important things I have no choice but to sign the agreement my lawyer sent and let them deal with the company
