We have called and spoke with the customer at length as soon as the issue was reported Per our terms agreement (to which customer agreed when placing his order) all DIY filter sales are final and can only be exchanged or replacedYou can view the terms here: [redacted] Even though we have full right to just replace the defective item we made an exception for this customer as it was clear from speaking with him, there was no need for this item for his useTherefore we told him he can go ahead and return it for a refund Once received we promptly refunded less shipping costs At this point the customer emailed saying that he didn't think retaining funds for original shipping cost was unfair because his order had free shipping to begin withAlthough we would be completely with our rights to retain this amount as it's standard practice to not refund shipping for returns across the web, we went ahead and refunded the shipping the same day for the customer, just to satisfy his complaint The next day we learn that he filed a Revdex.com complaint over the shipping, even though a refund was issuedWe called the customer and left a voicemail that this complaint be withdrawn as his refund request was processedThat voicemail went unanswered At this time we request that the customer withdraw the complaint as it's unfounded on multiple levels, including the fact that refund was processed and secondarily that it was done so as an exception to the agreed upon terms of purchase
