Review: I've contacted them several times on an order I placed 35 days ago. I have told them I want to cancel the order but they won't respond. As of today, the order is still active in their system with no information as to when the product will be available.Desired Settlement: I want them to cancel my order and provide a confirmation number.
Review: On Saturday, August 30, 2014, my son bought a hat at 'Lids' in the [redacted]. He told me it was $20 and the total was $26.35. I looked at his receipt and saw that they charged him $6.35 in tax. We went back to the store, and as I waited in line, I noticed that the woman ahead of me was being charged the same $6.35 in tax for one hat. I pointed out the mistake to her and she told the salesgirl. The salesgirl said that's what she was told to do. She was writing out the sales on paper; not using the register. A salesman came over to assist her. He fixed the order of the woman in front me. When it was our turn he had the girl give my son back his $26.35 and he re-did the sale. He said $22.32. I told him that was wrong (we had already calculated that his $20 hat should have been $21.27 total). He said the hat was $20.99 + tax. I showed him the $20 sticker on the brim of the hat. He said, "All of our hats end in .99". I don't think this is legal to post one price and sell it at another so my son and I left the store without making a purchase.I debated going to the police because I don't know if their practice was intentional or it was ignorance to sales procedures. Either way it is wrong. If the manager of the store doesn't employ people who know how to work, the store should be shut down.Desired Settlement: I don't know but I think law enforcement needs to look into this store's sales practices.

On December 13th 2013 My husband went into the Holyoke Mall to purchase 2 hats from Lids. Hats were purchased using debit card in the amount of $58.48 after applicable taxes. On 12/14 My husband went back to the store with bank statement in hand showing double charge. He was given information to contact Lids customer service which we did shortly after leaving the store. Information was faxed to customer service on 12/15, this included copy of receipt and bank statement. No contact was able to be made after fax sent in. On the 16th I went into the store with my daughter and approached the store manager with the subject. He stated there was nothing he could do and that we could stand there all day but would not walk out with $58.48 in our hand as the situation is out of his hands. We then asked he call customer service. Low and behold he was able to get into contact with CSM Karen who spoke with me and assured me my account would be refunded as soon as the end of business that day or it may take up to 3 days. 3 Days goes by, no deposit into bank account. I then contact customer service once again on 12/20 and they assured me it would be deposited back into our account in maximum 1 week. Today is 1 week and there has been no deposit made. ADDITIONALLY the "store manager" at Holyoke Mall was extremely rude and appeared to care less that we have been battling this situation and have traveled well over 150 miles not including the original trip to purchase hats just to try and rectify the situation. Berating a customer in the presence of other customers is incredibly rude and perhaps he should take a class on Customer Service and management before he gets himself into trouble. The Holyoke Police Department was also contacted on this matter and is requesting an update from myself or my husband during the 1st week of the new year.Product_Or_Service: 12/13/2013Order_Number: ticket# XXXXXDesired SettlementI would like at minimum my $58.48 back, and in addition to that perhaps they could show a little remorse and decent business practice by refunding the entire purchase for the hassle they have created an innocent customer during the already stress filled holidays. Final Consumer Response We have received our money back from lids Thank you
