They did not complete the work. It has been 11 days. Have made numerous calls and was told at least 4 times they would come back and have not. Yard and driveway a mess. Eddie took my money and promised to be back.

Review: 8-27-13 Liberty Tree Service cut down 2 trees for me for $1450.00. I called them because they had previously cut down a tree for me and did a good job They started late in the day and due to heavy showers could not finish the stump grinding and cleanup. Said would come back next day to finish. After numerous phone calls they kept promising next day, never showed up when they said they would. Finally 9-5-13 they did the stumps, but not satisfactory. I could not see what they left at that time because they did not cleanup anything until 9-12-13 after more phone calls. Even the cleanup from the stump grinding was not done very good. They were supposed to come back to finish the portion of stump and roots they left and of course never did come back or call. I finally gave up trying to get them to finish. I feel they should refund some money because they did not complete the job. I know not to expect anything from them. I have since had someone work on it, at my expense and have planted grass over it. Hoping in time the remainder roots will rot out. I know they are not accredited with you, but feel they should get a very bad report. Maybe this will help someone later on.Desired Settlement: Would like $100.00 back for my trouble and expense.

Spoke with the business and the manager states he was out of town for 10days during this time and left another employee in charge during his absence. This concern was never brought to his attention and now he will try to reach out to the customer.

Review: [redacted] is the [redacted] and I hired him to take out trees on my property, grind the stumps, and prepare the ground for seeding. He took the trees out in November 2013 and said he would be back after Christmas to finish preparing the ground for seeding. There were still some stumps that needed grinding and the ground is very rutted from the work he did last fall, and needs to be graded before we plant grass seed. So I've been calling him trying to get him to come back to do this work and its now April 2014 and he hasn't done it. He was recommended to me by a friend, so I called this friend and he called [redacted], and got him to come by my house last Thursday. [redacted] said he would do the work that he promised to do and said, "My [redacted] will be here today to finish grinding the stumps." His [redacted] never showed and [redacted] never called. I have called him 10 times in the past 3 days and he has not answered one call. I left a message and he hasn't called back. He and his crew left piles of debris in my yard that I now have to either clear myself or pay someone to clear. I also have to hire someone to do the work that he has failed to do. My biggest mistake was paying him in full last fall. He seemed like an honorable guy and I figured since he knew my friend, he was good for it. Lesson learned.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to finish the work that he agreed to do.

Review: On June 5, 2014, we hired this company to cut and remove branches from a tree on our back hill. The owner chose to fling the cuttings over the back fence, rather than walk around to use the gate, located 20 feet away. He informed me it was much easier for him and his crew, not having to walk as far, however my pool, which is about 2 feet from where they were throwing the cuttings, ended up begin filled with branches, twigs, and leaves.

During the cleanup phase, they scooped out the twigs and leaves floating on the pool’s surface, and removed the small branches and large twigs on the pool’s floor. I questioned about the remaining debris I saw laying at the bottom of the pool and was told me not to worry because the pool sweep would pick up the pieces that remained on the pool’s floor, and to be sure to clean out the skimmer the next morning.

The next day, Friday, June 6, my husband emptied the skimmer, which was full of twigs and leaves. Later than morning, around 10:00, the pool sweep was scheduled to begin, however it failed to move. On Saturday, my husband and I tried to fix the problem by manipulating the 3 way valve to create pressure in the pipe with the intent that we would jar loose the clog. We were not successful.

I called Liberty Tree, on June 7, and left 2 message. The first, in the morning, notifying the owner that the debris, not remove from our pool, clogged the pvc pipes attached to the pool sweep. The second call, in the afternoon, was to let him know we were unsuccessful at removing the clog. During this message, I informed him that we were given a quote of $95, minimum, to remove the clog. I also stated I felt he was 100% responsible for causing this problem, therefore should pay to fix it. I also gave him the opportunity to send someone to my home who can do this type of work. He did not return my call.

We hired a company to remove the clog and confirmed it was 100% comprised of twigs and leaves. I contacted Liberty Tree Service again to let them know about this, and left a message requesting he return my call to discuss how he would pay for this. He has not returned my call.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of $95 to cover the expense for fixing the damages caused by Liberty Tree Service. I have an invoice to support the charges.
