arrival our driver observed a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer in a ditch withboth rear wheels suspended in the air. The driver had to get under the vehicle to hookuprecovery hooks and chains, thus requiring him to crawl through mud. Due to the time of thecall, weather conditions, muddy location, 8 mile round trip for the driver and the fact this wasnot a simple breakdown but in actuality an accident recovery on private property, we charged afair fee of $150. The customer did not have the means to satisfy the bill at that time. In thetowing business, it is common practice for the company to hold the vehicle at their lot until thebill is satisfied. However, in good faith the driver agreed to the customer's request to allow herto keep her vehicle with a promise to come to Liberty Towing's office first thing in the morningto pay. Before leaving a thorough inspection of the vehicle was made to make sure it was safeto operate. As of 11/16/17, we still have not received any payment from the customer. She willnot answer phone calls and refuses to respond to messages.
