Liberty Student Relief Reviews (25)

Review: In May or June 2015, this company purchased another student debt relief company, in which I made payments for services that were never rendered to me. I have contacted Liberty Student Relief on a number of occasions via email, phone calls and letters to no avail. I have been given the run around for way too long and will file legal action shortly if this does get resolved in the immediate future. I cannot believe they would take $700 from me and my family and not stay true to their word. Not only have they not done anything with my account, they did not even notify my lender that they were now assisting me with my outstanding loans.Desired Settlement: I would greatly appreciate if someone would contact me regarding a resolution in this matter.

Review: I called liberty student relief to help me with my student loan. They told me they would take care of it and this year I wouldn't have to pay any part of my loan but I would have to pay installment of 999.00 for them to take care of this. I agreed and paid that. I have continued to get letters from the dept of education saying my balance is in default. I called liberty student relief and told them what was going on and that I wanted a refund. Customer service ext 301 told me she would input it in the computer on 5/14/15 and someone would call me back. Because my loans was already in default so there was nothing they could do. I asked her well why did you take my money then. Never received a call. I called back on 5/15/15 and customer service continued to hang up on me without me even speaking to anyone. So I called and got the billing department. I talked to a different lady and told her that a manager was suppose to be calling me back about my refund. Still not call. I plan to call back tomorrow. The person who done it was named sabastian. I have emailed him twice and received no response. I just want my money back. I contacted the dept of education and what liberty charged me 999.00 for they do for free. I will not ever recommend this company to anyone!Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the 999.00 they scammed me of.

Review: I have attempted to contact the company directly by phone without any success on more occasions than I would be able to recount and get no response. I have asked for a full refund of my money without any acknowledgment though they told me that they would refund it if I requested it. They have not followed through with delivering the product that I contracted with them to receive and asked for a refund in an email because they do not answer their phone calls or return messages that are left. I have not received any notice that they are processing my refund or even an acknowledgement of it. I do not want to do business with them any more and believe they do not have any intention of following through with the original agreement. I want my money returned.Desired Settlement: I want my money returned in full.

Review: I am asking to be refunded 200.00 that has been paid out to Liberty Student Relief for services that were not rendered. I have contacted the company and spoke to Mrs. [redacted] one of the processors and also another man who said I will be receiving my refund within a few months once. I was then told they were in the process of a law suite for fraud. Its been over 6 months and I have not received any money nor have anyone from Liberty Student Relief contacted me since.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a full refund of my hard earned money. And, for those who are looking or student loan relief. Contact Fed loan Services. There is no fee or any charges for them to lower your monthly pmts and they will help you fill out any complicated forms.

Review: I signed with this company because they were supposed to help with my student debt and told me that I qualified to be put on a program to where I would make $0 payments monthly until my income went up, but that I would need to make 3 payments in the amount of $199.67. I even signed a forbearance form that was to be given to my student loan provider. After a couple of months and 2 payments were already made, I received an email stating that the money I already paid was going to be put into a RAM Servicing trust account and would be held until services were rendered. I have been receiving phone calls from my loan provider because I am now months past due and am out of $ 399.34, which could have been given to my actual student loan provider. I am already enduring a financial hardship and this situation hasn't helped. I have called and emailed several times, but with no luck. I have printed out all emails exchanged between me and [redacted] (Liberty Student Relief Processor) and I have contacted and left message after message, but no response.Desired Settlement: I overall just want to get MY money back...I cannot afford to just give money away and that money is rightfully mine. I was lied to and deceived and it hurts me to say that I think I may be a victim of a scam. I hope and wish that no one else has to go through this, especially knowing that money could have went to good use instead of just in the hands of someone undeserving. I want justice for myself and anyone else that this company has taken advantage of. I just want my money back!
