The customer contracted Liberty to remove and replace her front porch roofWhen the roof was removed there was evidence of structural wood damageThe structural wood damage was and is the cause of the roof ponding waterShe was made aware of the damage immediatelyShe was also told that there would be additional cost for the structural wood replacementThe customer was then given a price to repairShe declined to have the additional wood replacedShe explained, that the property is a rental propertyShe, continued to explain, that the money would be wasted because she is selling it to the person renting it now so she had us continueWe told her we would try to build up the low area although it is not the correct way or a guaranteed remedyWhen the project was complete we were paid in full and issue a warrantyLiberty was notified by the customer of ponding water and returned to inspectWe informed the customer again of her decision to not rebuild the porch 100% to achieve the proper slopeVince and the customer agreed to install a drain where the ponding occursVince, with the customer standing on the porch, marked the porch ceiling where the drain would be installed and the downspout would be runVince not only did this for the customer but to indicate the drain location for the installersThis was done at the customers request and at no cost to the customerThe customer chose not to rebuild the porch 100% which is the cause of the ponding waterThey came to an agreement of the additional drain (which was done as a courtesy) and now do not like the appearanceAt this point the roof does not leak, we can remove the drain and have some ponding water or rebuild the porch as neededEither way Liberty would need to charge for further service Thank You

The owner has never forwarded paperwork detailing the scope of work or guarantee of any work completed by Liberty Roofing at the property addressedThe only paperwork Liberty Roofing has received is a cancelled check and paperwork from another companyThe check was dated 1/15/which is almost years ago and contractors paperwork which the date 11/4/and address are written in by the ownerThe paperwork has no phone number, Philalicense number or Pacontractors license number which is required by the PaAttorney Generals OfficeLiberty Roofing will gladly remedy issues with our contracted work The only way we can proceed is if the owner will forward a Liberty Roofing Guarantee and the scope of work completed Liberty Roofing does service the area that the property is locatedWe advised the owner that we can not inspect his roof or fix his roof without a guarantee and scope of workThe owner states the roof still leaks but does not state when the leak started or is repairedThe paperwork from the unlicensed contractor states the roof was coated a few years ago with no indication from the owner of who was contracted to complete the coatingIf the owner will produce a Liberty Roofing Guarantee and scope of work we will assist.Thank You,Jim C***Liberty Roofing

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The awning was there prior to them installing the roof We had no leaks in that area prior to them installing the roof If the awning in their opinion was a problem then they should have addressed it before they installed the roof and took that into consideration not after the fact The awning does not appear to be the issue at this point It is leaking on the slope of the roof which has nothing to do with the awning This company has not been able to fix the problem to date so I am not giving them anymore money to attempt to fix it only to find out in the end that I still have a leak I am getting other roofers estimates and opinions and they believe the leak is from the skylight from which this company installed Liberty charged us an additional $1,to fix the skylight problem but yet it still leaks It has ruined my interior ceiling in the kitchen I have given Liberty more than enough opportunities to resolve the issue I don't believe they have the knowledge or expertise to fix the issue at this point I absolutely believe that the roof and skylight have been installed improperly and therefore I should not have to pay anything to Liberty to have it fixed Regards, [redacted]
