We have met with Ms*** and explained how our GAP insurance works. We explained the coverages and the exclusions and pointed those out to her in the documents that she signed and agreed to at the time the loan was taken out. Once we explained everything to her she understood and agreed that she owed the remaining balance and she even sat down with our collections department and worked out a payment plan to begin working towards being in good standing with the credit union.
