LH Foot Massage Center

Review: To whom it may concern, I have been using the foot massage service at "LH Foot Care" in San Diego (5375 Kearny Villa Rd#1) for a couple of times and used to pay in cash. However, the last two times I went to the place and tried to pay with debit or credit card for me and my wife AFTER the service, they charged us 2 Dollars for using our cards. According to the federal and California state law (California Civil Code at 1747 - 1748.95), merchants are not allowed to apply credit card charges on their services unless they apply a discount on the advertised value when paying in cash. In our case, the price for a 50-60 min foot massage was 20 Dollars for paying cash but they added 2 Dollars when paying with credit/debit card. Since this is the second time now that they charge us (and probably many other customers) these extra dollars, I would like to file a claim against this illegal practice. On their website (http://www.lhfootcare.com/services.html) it clearly states "** We accept all major credit cards". This is additionally misleading, especially when they charge extra for credit cards.Desired Settlement: I would like to get reimbursed for the credit card charges and I am happy to provide at least one of the last two receipts with the charges on them. In addition, I would like the merchant to clearly state any discounts when paying in cash BEFORE the treatment/service. I hope that this claim will eventually protect customers in the future and prevent merchants from applying these illegal charges once for all. Thank you.
